BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana softball alumni are invited back for this fall's alumni weekend, which will take place Sept. 18 and 19 in Bloomington.   On Friday, former Indiana player and coach Diane Stephenson will be honored with the Leanne Grotke Award, which is given to those whose service has made exceptionally outstanding contributions to Indiana University's Women's Athletics Program. Following the dinner, invitees will gather at Nick's English Hut for a post-dinner gathering.   Saturday's festivities will kick off with an alumni softball game at Andy Mohr Field at 10 a.m. Following the game, attendees will head to the I-Association Tailgate party and get ready for Indiana's football's 4 p.m. kick against Western Kentucky.   Please RSVP to bbrase@iu.edu. Indiana will open play with a pair of games at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind. as the Hoosiers will face in-state foes Ball State and Valparaiso. The Hoosiers host Indiana State on Friday, Sept. 20 in doubleheader action beginning at 5 p.m. A twin billing against the University of Indianapolis will come on Sunday, Oct. 4 before Indiana wraps up the fall season against Lakeland Community College on Sunday, Oct. 11.
