    It looks like IU is waiting to see how '19 goes before offering Leal- which is the right approach, imo. And the staff's focus is on '19, I think you'll see that in the coming weeks.

    Exactly. OV's before July eval on a top kid indicate an impending commitment. If it doesn't happen and it goes until fall, something changed. Could things swing back, sure, it's recruiting. But IU should know the general situation in the next week and a half

    A visit is going to have to change things because nobody seems to confident he's getting out of the South at this point. I do like this kid a lot.

    It went well. Crean's visit's always went well, too. I'm told IU is basically in the second tier right now. Something is going to have to change to get him to Bloomington.

    No problem. I think we've talked about it around here but if Khaliq hadn't moved on I'm not so sure Keion would be in IU's backyard, relatively speaking. This just confirms he'll be at North Side for the duration of the recruitment.

    This happens all the time, breaks no rule, and is honestly just scratching the surface of some of the stuff that goes on. I would have the same take if it was UK, UL, PU, whoever because we're dealing with facts.

    Those two could co-exist. I would put TJD in more of the 5 category at this point. His game stays within the 3 point line. I wouldn't lay down much money on Hurt ending up at IU but I do think IU will go for it. I expect an OV and if you're in the top 5 for a player of this caliber it's negligent not to.

    With regards to TJD, I don't know when he commits but something would have to change for him not to end up in Bloomington. It's pretty well known in coaching circles and more than one HM coach has said they're out on TJD bc of Indiana.     Brooks is just pretty wide open, anyone trying to call that a certain way is BS'in you. IU is certainly in the top tier but he's listening to anyone who wants to jump in. And he's having a great spring so that's probably a logical approach Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    Trayce's game is still developing amongst the obvious potential. I agree, if I were putting money he'd be gone in a year. But I can see a 2 year guy out of him. In terms of offense, there is plenty of development to be had outside of 15 feet. Defensively, he has the instincts at this point.

    IU and Bama for sure. Penny's hiring seems to be shooting waves across the circuit so that's one to monitor, imo, for anyone in the South.

    Some recent talk about Vandy getting involved. Do I see him going there? No. Would it be negligent to not try given recent recruiting momentum and region? Yeah
