  1. Wow, very interesting.
  2.   Ha I missed that, but further evidence not to put much stock in her word.
  3. It's not as serious as it's being made out to be. UK is the threat
  4. Jordan McLaughlin (2014 PG) going off on ESPNU. Always liked his game
  5. I haven't heard Mizzou in a long time, maybe we're getting different info.
  6. I'm not saying he won't end up at UK but it I can say it's far from certain like that "good source" is stating. Far, far, too many elements and variables in this one for someone who probably won't be deciding until after the middle of April when players declare for the draft.
  7. Evan Daniels @EvanDaniels Will Tai Wynyard be in Kentucky's 2015 or 2016 class? "I'm not sure yet I can decide later," Wynyard said. | Story:   Well....
  8. Not expecting TB to be a one and done, so may have some sort of affect...2016 international big     Evan Daniels @EvanDaniels Tai Wynyard tells Scout he has committed to Kentucky.
  9. IU is absolutely actively recruiting for 2015 so it's clear they intend to take another.
  10. I think, regarding '16, Lamar Stevens out of Haverford, PA is someone the staff is really putting a lot of time into. Making strides with Joey Brunk but MSU will be tough. I'd say those (Alkins, Davis, Stevens, Brunk) are top priorities with Eron Gordon and Thon Maker (probably a reclass) in there somewhere. EG's recruitment is a bit different, as is Thon's.   For 15, Bryant is the obvious front runner for the staff. I'm not sure what the back up plan is, maybe Vrankovic, but I really don't know. Lyle seems to be leaning towards LSU but thats ever-changing. Khalil Iverson is a guy who doesn't make a ton of sense but Crean is pursuing.
  11. Wow, never even saw that. Colorado is not the stiff competition. Zona seemed to be and they haven't backed off since getting Leaf but gotta think that commit hurt their position. It's early, I just expect some big boys to hop in but IU has established themselves in this one for sure.
  12. From everything I hear IU is right there among the top. Still tons of time in this recruitment but Davis seems to be a top target for the staff and rightfully so.
  13. I think he's watching very closely. And winning seems to be very important to IU's position
  14. ^ Thomas Bryant visited IU in Oct.
  15. I think that one positive for Indiana is that it's moving away from being Mom's decision and becoming TB's. That has sort of been the word the last two weeks. I haven't been following articles and all that but, keep in mind, that even if she is being quoted in all those she is a fairly easily accessible direct source for reporters/journalists/bloggers so she will continue to contribute in those forums.
  16. De'ron and his Overland squad took on Zimmerman/Jeter of Bishop Gorman last week. They lost, but De'ron had a solid game against those bigs going for 12 pts, 10 rbs, 3 blks. Looks like Zona and Ok St. were out to see him later in the week so Zona still applying the heat after the Leaf commitment.
  17. Saw Ahmed Hill for VT tonight. He was a major focus one spring period two years ago and a guy who really put the ball through the hoop. Averaging 8.3 ppg and 3.5 rbs so far in about 22 min, started half the games.
  18. Now I didn't say that. I just wouldn't use her words as anything more than her opinion. Remember, she had some negative things to say about UK, as well.    East coast guys say Mom wants him at Syracuse but TB isn't sold. Mom's comments to the press throughout his recruitment seem to support that. I guess the question in this one is how much pull does Mom ultimately have? That I do not know.   Maybe of note:   That is sorta why after it was announced that TB would be coming back for HH I suggested that the key was to see if Mom was returning. That meant so much more than him roadtripping with a few of his buddies for a midnight madness event. TB was a bit under the weather and had a standardized test run later than he had thought IIRC so they never made it anyways... I know some think that cancellation of the visit was BS but that's not really my opinion. Bryant was pretty high on IU after that visit and was recruiting Bridges. Crean had TB deliver that offer, btw. Maybe thats been said idk
  19. Mom and TB are on different pages at this point.
  20. IU took Yogi over DSR. No way they played together but IU had their pick.
  21. Yeah, only met the man a half handful of times but TBH based on everything else....
  22. Bolds are beyond what can be posted on an open forum, and I hate to say that but it's the rules. I mean not to paint this as just being on the players; Crean is hard to play/work for. The reality of that is...plenty of coaches are hard to play for but win.
  23. I'm saying he's open to IU. I'm not sure Mom is anymore.
  24. Maybe a shot, but an incredibly long one. I think the key is understanding the dynamics between Thomas and his Mom because one seems in, one seems out.
