    i think if he would have had a monster combine (completely unexpected), then it might have helped get him drafted, but by having a poor combine, I don't think it changed anything to the negative.

    He was 7-21 officially, 33%, but he took, what 24 free throws? Prob means he took another 6-10 shots that he was fouled attempting. Seems like when this thread started with the CS info, his shooting was poor all the way through. Maybe I am incorrect.

    Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not impressed. He prob took 30 shots and made 7... 33% officially. ft's are nice though

    Yes. We all know how that season went, as did both years with DD, but what we need from McSwain is totally different. I don't think anyone is saying FM is going to come in and be a top 3 stats guy, but rather a guy who brings some real positives when he enters the game, during the 1st 35 min of play.

    I imagine if Devin was an Indiana fan, being 10-12 years old during Sampson's years, he might have an affinity for the former IU coach.

    I think he'll be back too, because I don't think execs will be falling all over themselves trying to get him to come out. I don't think we have a player that fills the slasher type player that he is. I think he's be a major asset on next years team. Push us over-the-top type asset.

    I don't think so, because a degree and a 4th year don't go hand in hand. I'd say it would be easier for him to be a transfer walk-on rather than a stay here walk-on

    Might not get combine #'s. Have to be invited, from my understanding, so he might not be rated high enough for that. He might get no more than some verbal feedback. We'll see. Edit: He apparently is allowed to work out for individual teams and interview with them, if any are interested enough.

    I want to tend to making 2016-17 as good of a roster as possible and go from there. I don't want to get caught up in the, "if we have too many good players now" "we won't have room to sign more good players later" 2012 was pretty good looking on paper too. I don't want to give up a now season, for season in the future that may never pan out.
