  1. Ok, good rule, but I hate the application of it sometimes.
  2. That's just stupid. Bang-bang play. Live ball. Dumbass rule.
  3. Aw hell, why not a safety.
  4. How about Ricky Jones for the TD? I can handle that.
  5. How about we play some D?
  6. Run D is the Hawkeye's forte?
  7. Its a interesting matchup. Iowa has a great defense, but have not played a passing offense as good as IU's. The Iowa rush D is top notch, and even as good of a RB as Howard is going to have to plat a notch above to get it done today. Iowa's passing game hasn't been all that good, but IU's passing D is worse. I'm wondering if we scheme them like we did OSU and sell out against the run. That will give up some big plays, but I'm not sure any scheme will keep IU from doing that.    This is a a very interesting matchup. IU's high powered offense and against Iowa's smothering defense. A mediocre Iowa passing attack against a bad IU passing D. A pretty good Iowa run game against a decent IU rush D.    I'm always a bit worried about how a team comes out of a bye week. You come out rested and hopefully healed up, but it too often seems like that team starts a bit on the flat side. Really hoping that doesn't happen today.
  8. Matt Weaver tweeted a link on him, but I can't post it for some reason.

  10. Could be wrong, but I'm thinking at least one of them is still looked at as a QB, but is playing a different position this year.
  11. And they have a hell of a defense this year. So expect some big hits. That said, let them make the mistake of trying to get square in Howard's way when he's got a head of steam.
  12. One nice thing, even bad IU teams seem to play Iowa tough for some reason.
  13. All that being said, I can see giving the extension. Fred Glass might have to have balls of solid rock to do it though. Call them just fun to watch, or whatever, but they have played their asses off most of the year (20 minutes at Rutgers being the most obvious exception) and pretty much left it all on the field. I've been following IU football for around 30 years, this is as close as we have been to being relevant since Mallory's days, and I still see plenty of possibilities in what we have going on. I still say, just win, and we can quit all the speculating.
  14. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/26/indiana-offense-better-than-oregon-spartans-lb-provides-hoosiers-good-recruiting-pitch/   A little IUFB love from a MSU LB.
  15. I mostly agree, but it would be a lot easier to support with a win or two.
  16. In the end, its going to be the results that count. However, I wouldn't consider the comparison of the Rutgers game and MSU game to be legit. In the Rutgers game, they seemed to think they had the game won, and just quit playing. In the MSU game, they played till they just didn't have anything left to leave out there. Both are still in the loss column.
