  1. Great return, Paige. If the offense screws around here and we don't score....
  2. I'd like to have Latham back on the DLine too.
  3. Defense has stepped it up after that poor start.
  4. Ziesloft ended up proving me wrong. Going back, I would have the exact same criticisms. At the time he was career 38% shooter from 3, we had people hoping he'd excel against high major competition at something he'd only shown himself to be decent at against mid major competition. Yes, I would have the exact same criticisms again because I don't operate on hopes and dreams.
  5. If he's having trouble grasping the offense he shouldn't be seeing the field, which shows just how awful the backups are. The only reason I mentioned Cameron in past threads is because the little bit we saw he seemed to be able to pass more than Diamont, which granted Diamont can't pass at all so it's an impossibly low standard.
  6. Offense has to step it up though. Their pattern of s**t the bed with two good drives mixed in leaves the defense on the field too long.
  7. Looked like there was a miscommunication on that pick.
  8. At this rate we'll all get our afternoon back, because this game could be over by the second quarter.
  9. On the replay, that friggin' receiver has a rabbit's foot where the sun doesn't shine or something. It doesn't get much luckier than that.
  10. I'm digging the uniforms, I'd make them sort of a standard. Not a fan of just having the number on the helmet, feels like we're copying Alabama. I'd have gone white w/ script Indiana or something like that.
  11. This. Stealing signals isn't something unusual, and it's been happening for decades. John Madden and Jimmie Johnson both admitted they knew coaches were doing it when they were coaching, Cam Cameron admitted to doing it. Howard Mudd was known as the best signal stealer in the NFL. There's a reason you see coordinators cover their mouths with their playsheet, it's so people can't read their lips. Not saying IU does steal signals, but I would be absolutely floored if it's not happening at the collegiate level because the staffs are paid a lot of money to win games.
  12. Anything can happen, there is a lot that goes into recruiting. It's great to be on a list with the likes of those schools, that wouldn't have happened before, but the odds of actually being able to beat them? Even if ND or UCONN had other priorties, that list still includes the likes of Tennessee and other successful women's programs. I'd add her to the team in a heartbeat if she wanted to come here, I just don't see it happening.
  13. No clue, I have no sources. That was posted in the Jaelynn Penn thread, basically saying something like many had reached out to her but a few like ND and UCONN hadn't. If Grayson wanted to come, great sign her up, I just have a very very difficult time seeing it when the list includes WBB heavy hitters like ND and UCONN; the list of girls that Geno Auriemma has had go to the WNBA is a lengthy and includes stars the likes of Sue Bird.
  14. From what I'd read some of the top dogs like UCONN and ND hadn't offered her.
  15. It'd be awesome but not gonna happen. IUWBB on a list with UCONN, Tennessee and ND has about as much of a chance as I have of winning the lottery twice.
  16. I gave credit last week, I've given credit to basketball too even if one season will do nothing to change my opinions. Don't assume motives just because I may not be actively posting. Part of the reason is there seems to be more posters that don't want anyone to have a critical eye, that just want roses and rainbows and I'm not wired that way. If someone is critical they're "haters" or accused of not being true fans. Not pointing anyone out so don't take my comment that way. I may point out things that need work, but I give credit too.
  17. I didn't say a word about him until another poster did. I said 'offense' meaning as a whole. Offensive line needs to do better, play calling was awful, too many stupid penalties. I've been hard on Lagow, but I've given him credit as well.
  18. I didn't want to say anything, but he's part of it.
  19. One again, outside of a couple drives the offense was resoundingly 'meh'. The offense needs as much work as the defensive line.
  20. I think they got it right, in all the replays you lose sight of the ball and can't definitively say who recovers.
  21. It has to be indisputable, I'm not sure that is.
  22. Remember when the defense was getting stops? Yeah, that was fun.
