Too late for redshirt now, but yes, as soon as Al and Jerome are back Damezi’s minutes will disappear. -
Would love to see Duke beat Kentucky by a “Chicago State” level of deficit.

In my opinion you guys are being waaay too hard on DeVonte Green. He can create his own shot with the second unit. He defends well, and with aggression. He will be a volatile player, but he will be important to the team’s success. If you stop thinking of him as a potential starting point guard, and start thinking of him as a twenty minute per game energy and scoring option, he looks a lot better. -

At the media availability yesterday, Juwan singled out CM as having had a great practice week. That + injuries = playing time. -

Believe it or not, I think we see a little bit more of Clifton Moore than most would expect tonight. -

On behalf of Walking Boot, I believe I can very safely say his post was tongue in cheek. Gradman, on the other hand, was quite serious.

What say you two find a gloomy corner to discuss among yourselves how sad and unfair it all has to be? ;) -
Seems like USI is a good 10-15 points better than Chicago State.

My 12 year old has the entire evening planned out for our watching pleasure. Gonna be hard to keep the IU Chicago State game up on the screen with so many big time match-ups in the mix.
-
Good thing he’s gone with our logjam of high end bigs all vying for playing time. Wouldn’t want jealousy and dissention to set in.

Five minutes left, UK by 12 over a D2 team. Good lord I’m glad college basketball is back.

And as if the 26 turnovers against a D2 team didn't fire up this thread enough...wait until you read this game recap article!! ____________________________________________________________________________________ Takeaways from Georgia men’s basketball blowout of West Georgia in exhibition game Head men’s basketball coach Tom Crean roamed the Stegeman Coliseum sidelines in a game for the first time on Thursday. But it was only an exhibition game, and Crean treated it as such. He put every player in the game, sat back and watched. But he had some coaching to do at halftime. Even though Georgia was leading 44-25, Crean was afraid his team was going to lose . That’s because West Georgia was running a zone defense and the Bulldogs hadn’t prepared at all for zone. “We had not worked on that,” Crean said. “Literally.” On the fly, he taught his team a zone offense in the tunnel. Georgia adjusted and beat West Georgia 98-59 in its final tune-up before the regular season commences on Nov. 9 against Savannah State. West Georgia was a .500 team last year in the Gulf Coast Conference in NCAA Division II. So maybe Thursday’s exhibition game in Stegeman wasn’t an adequate test of the Bulldogs
