Actually… he literally opens his press conference by saying “Happy Thanksgiving week, to those that celebrate.” It’s not some controversial or sectarian religious holiday. That’s a really awkward thing for anyone to say, whether it’s a football coach or not.

Here’s to a 100% recovery! Orthopedic surgeons are some super awesome people. No cadaver ligaments? That’s how they did my ACL/MCL/PCL and 25 years later I’m still able to play hoops at age 60. Was not nearly as invasive as those I’ve heard that used their own ‘parts’.

You just made the list… of other old guys that I can now beat in full court hoops. Have a close friend that I saw for the Wisky football weekend; one month post knee replacement and he’s already quite a bit better than pre-replacement.

Hey - remember when IUFB has four really tough games on their schedule; at PSU, Iowa, and Oregon, and home against Illinois, and we were hoping they'd win two or three of them? Well IUBB has four relatively tough non-congerence games on their schedule and we're one for one. What say we just keep winning and winning?
