  1. Tonight’s shot chart is a gawddamn beautiful piece of ******* art:
  2. The second outage was allegedly a cyber-hack led by the North Korean government and the Marshall University inter-fraternity party planning council.
  3. Considering that on court player warmups start in about 40 minutes? Yes; he’ll know more soon.
  4. This is the latest installment in our continuing series, “Not Mike Woodson.”
  5. Lee from Princeton has been an inefficient chucker in their three games to date: 26.8% fg, 20.7% three pt on high volume. UF moved Hough to the three, and playing a lineup that’s bigger than most NBA teams has not gone especially well. And they don’t have much guard depth. Aberdeen was a massive portal loss for them. An unranked IU team looks way more connected.
  6. Dunno about that. IMO a pretty good coach.
  7. Wisconsin has scored a TOTAL of 54 points in their seven games against P4 teams. That’s an average of about 7.5 points per game. Their defense is solid; probably even above average for a P4 team, but we would have to score about two touchdowns less than our worst performance of the year to make this a close one. And it’s going to be played in excellent conditions.
  8. 20 rebounds in a Heat win last night. 20. That’s a lot.
  9. Mick Cronin’s UCLA team is ranked 15th, but they’re only up five at the half against West Georgia. They also start Xavier Booker and Skyy Clark, so I’m betting on them disappointing as long as that’s the case.
  10. Wisconsin’s only two choices at QB for this weekend? This guy: https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4878912/hunter-simmons But that guy has been so, so bad in his four years at Wisconsin, that it is more likely to be this (QB rating 30.6) true freshman: https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/5141687/carter-smith OH THE HUMANITY!!
  11. Not Pearl, Drew. Not Few, Wright. Not Stevens, Donovan. … and yet things look shockingly (tic) good! Almost like Dolson knows what he’s doing and hired someone that knows what he’s doing.
  12. I’m guessing that Cig was being kind to Michalski. He came in the game when Benson got hurt so he was healthy enough to play. And against Maryland he had some really bad moments.
  13. Field of 68 Goodman and Dauster post-win show. Most of this video is an on-air with Lamar. Our SG is one hell of a smooth, funny, guy. Great interview! https://youtu.be/erEZe87ZYO0?si=vVagkmTA8mhbYFUg
  14. Reasonable to assume that Sarratt will again not play, which plus the bye week should have him fully recovered for Puredoo.
  15. Wisconsin is a hot, injury-depleted mess at RB, and especially at QB. We will likely face their third string QB, a freshman, who will be backed up by an untalented fourth string senior. Seems likely that a delicious feast for our defense will be served.
  16. That’d be a fantastic hire for Penn State, and a nut punch to the Purdump fanbase, some of whom have been convinced that Brohm only left them because UL is his alma mater. lol
  17. Hoosiers 2; that’s all we’ll need. We score a safety on Wisconsin’s first offensive play and we take a knee on every offensive play thereafter. Wisconsin? 0 points, negative 649 total yards.
  18. This sure seems more likely to be a 27-3 IU win than another 56-6 game.
  19. Ajani too. He officially arrived this week; beat out a 21 year old portal transfer from O$U, and will start for the next three+ years.
  20. Portal additions assessment to date: Tucker - doesn’t count; the coach’s kid. Enright? 100% awesome get. Love this kid at IU. Lamar? OH YES!! Bailey - Not seeing it. Sloppy on offense. Alexis? OH YES for sure Conerway? Yes; more than some think Jasai? Until today looked like a no; but maaaybe. Harris - so far a big ol’ no, and that includes before the injury. Drake- who the hell knows OVERALL? Pretty damn good
  21. There were some signs from Jasai Miles today that intrigued me. He really moved his feet well on defense—seems like even though he came here as a scorer, he’s tentative on that end; looking to avoid mistakes. But he showed signs of athleticism and effort today and he could be reinvented as a multi-positional swing man. Until today the game has looked way too fast for him; today it appeared to slow down just a little.
  22. With Cig this year we broke Illinois, UCLA, and Maryland. Today IUBB broke Marquette.
