From a new 247 article: Moore is taking an official visit to Ole Miss on Sept. 24, and will likely visit Indiana and Northwestern (in one order or another) the two weekends after that. Michels said Moore is much more of an outside player than a true big man, and would fit into a collegiate program that plays quickly and doesn't need him in the paint. That's part of what makes Ole Miss attractive, that "they don't have anything like him," Michels said. Moore still doesn't know much about Indiana and only just met Crean on Thursday night, but the mystique of the program is already attractive to him. "The whole thing of Indiana is intriguing," Michels said. "It's one of those places that it's just intriguing because of who it is. Whether it ends up being a fit in the long run, I don't know, but it's something that I think intrigues him because it's Indiana."

James, not Thomas, as IU's best player? We can only hope. While unlikely, if that were true we'll be in for one heck of an excellent year.

I think it simply is that IU thinks he does not have a specific skill that can be developed into something especially excellent. Save for a few last minute signings, CTC seems to reach for "below four star" kids when he thinks they have a particular facet of their game that can be turned into a prominent team feature: length, shooting, quickness, physicality, something. Nunge seems to be an everyman well-rounded player without any currently discernible upside.

I just watched the 93 Hoosiers win by one against the Fab Five at Michigan on YouTube. UM's last possession for the win was snuffed by a Cheaney partial block of a Juwan Howard jumper, Weber gets the rebound five feet from the basket, and Alan Henderson completely swats away his follow shot. Hoosiers.
