My personal favorite moment of Vic was right after winning the B1G title and him laying all his emotions on the floor and the embrace with Crean. I know what the IU program and fans have gone through but that one single moment for me as an outsider, allowed me to connect with what that group has gone through and what they have built from nothing. It was truly awesome to see.

I haven't been sold on every recruit we have had.  Quite the opposite actually, but I am all in on this kid.  You can't teach that size with that form/footwork he has.  He is a matchup nightmare.  I don't care how many stars he has.  You have a heads up PG who can find anyone on the court.  You have athletes going to the rim.  You will have defenders not knowing who to cover.  That is why a shooter is so important.  Just watching the videos out there on him, he already has a form as good if not better than CWat as a Soph.  IMO.  That is the sweetest form coming into the program since Roth.  Jordy's motion is so hard to teach or become good at.  He did it.  But, from pure footwork, form, and quick release, this kid has it.  Whether that translates to IU, we will find out next year.  I am happy at the potential for sure.  I haven't hoped a recruit has come in and performed at IU in a long time like I am for this kid.  In a year where nobody can make up their mind, he is all for IU and some don't like him due to what they don't know about him from lack of stars.

First time posting, but I want in.
 
1. Kentucky - I don't respect anything about them, fans, coach, even hate Rupp Arena. But most of all Coach Cal. I think he can recruit, but I don't think he can coach unless they are one-and-dones he can plug in and get instant results. I can't think of one player that left better than they came in under Cal. Look at last year's team, once Nerlens Noel got hurt the season went down the toilet, it was like Christmas to watch them lose to Robert Morris.
 
2. Purdue - Enough said.
 
3. UNC - Anything to win, even making up classes to get players NCAA eligible academically.
 
4. Syracuse - Beoheim
 
5. Ohio St, Michigan, Florida, Alabama, USC - Just programs I don't like, hate Snyder, Alabama football gets away with everything, and disliked Carroll and Kiffin and turned to dislike of program.

I'm thinking at purdue an incident with a farm animal would be considered as normal and expected  behavior. 

2 exhibitions. Way to drop the hammer!!!! Anyone know what he did?!? A farm animal involved?!

I like how I have to learn the nuances of a new board every year or so. It helps keep me young.
Thanks to all who do the work so I can simply click on the app and get instant good information. I remember back when in college we had these things called newspapers that kids delivered to your house. We had to wait until about 7 AM when the paper arrived to get any info. Now we get it instantly and I know there are a lot of people out there working hard like that paper carrier to make sure I get info.
For that I give a big thanks! Hopefully there are no long lasting hard feelings amongst the mods from both sites because they did a lot of good work as well.

I just like the "feel" here, I trust the posters and content. I felt the frustration of some mods coming thru over there. I still check over there, just as I check everywhere. I didn't have to deal w the behind the scenes stuff like the mods did, but this feels like home. I really like many of the mods/posters over there, would like to see a lot over here (they can keep cheapie tho, lol)

Thanks cH.  We enjoyed our time at 247 and HSN, but we felt it was best for both parties to go our separate ways.  We really like it here, and can't wait to see this place expand greatly this basketball season!

I have a friend who is a seasoned Ump, he has been on Facebook explaining things, including the baseline.
 
Hwy, I think it's hilarious that all the Cubs, Reds, and Braves fans are all talking trash about this obstruction call. Just funny to me because they don't care that the call was right and by the rulebook, they are just mad and bashing the call because the Cards won from it. I love it haha!

In his post he said he's read his rulebook, so if you want to argue you'd better know what you're talking about.
 
I asked him if he happened to read the definition of baseline.  The baseline is a straight line from the runner's current location, with 3 feet on either side being the base path.

Funny thing is when the missed call at second in game one was reversed they were all "good sports" and were just happy the right call was  made. When the right call was made in game three and it went against them they act like whiny babies and cry about it.

Well, he had already made it to third so Boston fan is wrong there. Being inside the base line is irrelevant.
 
Also you aren't automatically awarded the base on that play. The home plate ump has that option based upon whether he thought the runner would have been safe without the obstruction. It was a close play so the ump called him safe. They gave an example of a few years ago Tejada (I assume Miguel, not sure, they just said Tejada) turned around and stopped to tell the ump it was obstruction and never continued the play. They called him out.
 
In summary, your Boston fan doesn't have a clue what he's talking about! lol   

It was the right call, but I don't pay much attention to anything Jim Joyce says.
 
That Boston fan is now saying Craig should've been on 3rd with two out because you're awarded the base but Craig was in the line between 2nd and 3rd not 3rd and home.
