Nope, that is why we have to keep Green & Smith and keep them happy until then... at least happy enough to not quit the team or their classes. There has to be a point when players can leave without repercussion simply because of graduating players. Schools shouldn't be (and aren't) dinged for a player not coming back once they have graduated and/or used up their eligibility, that is why they do the mid-season and not end of season transfers etc.

Each sport is separate... so the "multiple sports" aspect doesn't affect the other sports. And I would assume they all had GREAT grades on those transcripts LOL honestly it is maddening to say the least with what they got away with, but it isn't actually an APR issue, they actually were defrauding the APR to circumvent the sanctions that real classes and real grades would have landed them. If there were no APR rules in place UNC wouldn't have worried about making fake classes to ensure their APR scores stayed up.

Timing is the key.... if you have a Mid-season transfer you are hurt. It is players on scholarship in the fall being retained through the Spring... if at the end of the Spring they leave (after the season, 1 and done, etc) then it has no bearing. As long as they finish out their classes and get good grades then there is no issue because as mentioned before the scholarships are renewed yearly. And yes the smaller basketball roster does put more emphasis on each player. If you have 13 on scholarship you can afford 1 person to transfer (in good standing) or 1 person to not be in good standing and still have a 961 APR but have 2 or have somebody transfer in bad standing and you are already low at 923

I can't believe some nefarious people have not taken advantage of this rule before... I mean how hard is it to get a hold of an opponent stuffed animal and if needed at a specific point in a game toss it onto the floor... Brilliant!!!!

Thanks for the info on Green... from section A last night it appeared to be legit leadership and trying to pump up the team... definitely noticed multiple times Smith go directly to his seat and sit down when nearly everybody else went down the line giving 5s everytime they came out... I was going to come on here today and praise Green and complain about Smith..... glad I read the prior comments first. I've always been a Green supporter, but this doesn't sound like something I can get behind.

I get wanting to change it up, but that lineup scares me... there is 1 ball handler, nobody to initiate offense. In my opinion you have to have Green or Durham in there for either Thompson or Davis.. (or Langford). I would like to see Morgan, Davis, Green, Durham, & Thompson even... or go 3 guards with Phinisee starting over Race, not sure Race is ready to be a starter yet. Who is killing Archie? What are the saying? Same things we and others have been saying or something new?

IDK and I honestly don't expect any... but those were his words after the game so.... Start Davis, Morgan, Durham, Green, & Race (to go big) or Phinisee (to go 3 guard small).... Will never happen. If opening shot of the game is a 3... sit that person down.. if somebody complains or looks dejected sit them... at some point they will all be too worried about making a mistake to even play anyway so this is obviously not the answer... I am actually curious to see what his definition of drastic changes means?
