Not impossible... but YES very difficult to have a PERFECT Survivor... there is always a winner! Last year for example 9 people get out of the first weekend, but only 1 to make it to the Elite 8.... That person missed the pick but had other options still on the table.

That is correct. Each team can only be used 1 time throughout the course of the tournament.

In a way I like the idea... it would never happen and would mean only a couple "cupcake" games in the non-conference but it would be pretty cool to have the full round-robin.... If it weren't for money I say we kick out Rutgers, Maryland, & Nebraska and then play everyone in the conference twice every year!

It would definitely depend on the 2 games removed.... Say they removed @ Rutgers & Home against Michigan State. We play 2 more "easier" opponents... so now we are sitting at 18-13 and takes away one of our worst losses but also takes away a High Quad 1 Win... would we still look as good?

That is correct. You pick the winner of 1 game per day and you move on to the next day. However you can not pick the same team more than 1 day.

I know RPI is a thing of the past and is no longer used but I heard we would currently be the lowest rated (by RPI) team to ever be an at large... is that correct? I think it said we were 81 currently. I know NET has taken the place but will the committee still see that 81? How drastically can that change if we win another game or 2?

That is correct. It will start on Thursday after the First Four Games are concluded.

If anybody is interested in participating in a Tourney Survivor Contest post your picks in here and I will track and update. RULES: You try to correctly pick 1 winner for each day that games are played. There are a total of 10 days of games during the Tournament. Where you Click to "LIKE" does the App give you other options? On the PC "SAD" is an option... but if there are no other options just posting the vote will be fine for others as well.

Very disappointed... he mentioned that several times he had thoughts of transferring... But that goes to show how strong he has been. He has gone through a LOT in his time with IU, Crean to Miller, #1 Rankings to Struggling teams, Teams with Chemistry to (rumored) Chemistry Issues, Shoulder Issues.... and he has come through it all to become a Favorite and a Great College Player.
