  1. IU 72-63 Yes. I do like this post. I'm below the middle of the pack in standings & we need to change the momentum here.
  2. Max Bielfeldt
  3. Very much agree with Stu here. If you have a coach open minded to learn the "Read and React" philosophy, I know that years ago Bill Self endorsed the idea. I enjoyed teaching the system to 4th & 5th grade boy and girls with a wide range of skills and athletic ability about 11 years ago. There are reads and cuts that he can learn as an individual that could help in his development if not implemented in a team situation. A good system you could promote to a coach.
  4. RIP Coach. Quite sure I could not possibly ask for a better example of intensity growing up. Thanks for all the great memories.
  5. I believe our guys would benefit from more pass fakes when breaking the press and inbounding the ball. GO HOOSIERS!
  6. Agreed HH. Speaking of seeing more, I really like this lads vision on both ends of the floor.
  7. Similar feelings. I'm glad we made a what seems to have been hard at Brad. It's time to bring on Beilein. I like his lein of thinking. He used brooms during practice to simulate the lenthy Cuse team defense at the big dance in '13. It wouldn't suprise me if the idea of brown garden gloves to focus on catching passes came from John B of which Max B brought from Michigan. I could be wrong as to John being the source of where that came from. I believe the timing may have been about right iirc. The age concern is understandable, but I think he could have us making a run in the dance in 23 if not 22. Bring on Beilein.

  9. ...bringing on Max Beilfeldt as an assistant to get that straightened out?
  10. Good stuff. Congrats Stu!
  11. OK guys. I'm waving the white flag: http://www.realtor.com/news/celebrity-real-estate/billy-donovan-selling-florida-home/
  12. Congrats to the team and Collin. I might be reading into this a little too much. I noticed during the player appreciation part of Collin's intro video that OG said 'we'll miss you'. Did anyone else take that as there might be a decent chance OG is back next year?
  13. Not specifically to recker222000 but to this broad paintbrush stokes that paints the picture that CTC offends ALL coaches. If you are going to use this argument against Crean, would it be possible to state exactly what school's coaches he's offended and why. imo After this is read several times without backing or explanation it really hurts the argument.
  14. lol At the end of the short vid Cuban clearly says "No. I don't want to buy out Tom Crean. I want to extend him not buy him out. So, hopefully he'll be around for a long time." I struggle to understand why some of you would suggest that Cuban is BSing about extending CTC while at the same time he is donating millions to the university. http://wishtv.com/2015/12/17/mark-cuban-im-a-huge-tom-crean-fan/
  15. Yes I do. Mavs Coach Carlisle hasn't exactly set the world on fire in the last five years losing in the first round in four years and not making the playoffs in 2013 . Cuban has stuck with his man and so I'd disagree with the statement Cuban would have not have Crean around today. I believe both Cuban & Glass look at the development of the entire program versus some of the immediate results of wins & losses that we as fans get emotionally exhausted over. 16. I saw that last night. I appreciate this from Calbert. I've read a couple of times the relationship between Calbert & CTC wasn't/isn't that good per disgruntled fans on social media. It's good to know that Calbert respects the fight despite the noise from our fan base.
  17. Last great Hoosier? I doubt that. You guys can downplay the 3OT win against Penn St. if you like. You can at least acknowledge that Green's 2 turnovers in the span of 45 minutes is a very positive sign. It may be my optimistic/unrealistic outlook, but I thought DeRon Davis moved much better than he did in our game against Northwestern. The development of those two players alone will make the future of this program a bit brighter.
  18. I agree everyone should have the right to their own opinion as well as respect for that opinion. I feel it is an interesting take from both Cuban & Yogi.
