  1. Yeesh, just goes to show you how bad Archie was
  2. I don’t? I’ve seen several posts here in the past that have used Seth Davis’ proclamation of Stevens one day coaching IU as confirmation. Now all of the sudden his opinion doesn’t matter? Weird how that works.
  3. Amazing how rent free that guy continues to live in some of your heads.
  4. Bruce Pearl has been past the S16 twice and has coached over 20 years. He’s a unanimous pick by many.
  5. Oh, I didn't know these guys batted 1.000
  6. Everybody thinks Seth Davis hates their team.
  7. I mean that wasn't an outlandish take. Needed a Will Sheehey jumper with time running out to advance.
  8. I guess to counter that, was he guessing when he said that Brad Stevens would possibly coach at IU one day? Nearly every coaching list I've seen has Stevens at the top. He directly contradicts himself regardless if he meant too or not.
  9. Believe Seth Davis was one of the guys who made the claim that Brad Stevens had the "itch" to get back into coaching and mentioned IU by name as a destination. Wonder what changed his mind? https://x.com/SethDavisHoops/status/1887901245970751598
  10. Because IU doesn't fire coaches in the middle of the year for gross incompetence. Not who they are nor will they ever be. We've been over this. The forced "resignation" is significant verbiage as it pertains to his contract.
  11. Saw it and agree with Home Jersey 100%. Driving drunk is a mistake, beating your fiance isn't. Not really anything else to discuss. Beard is a great basketball coach. He's also a complete scumbag.
  12. WTF? That’s your takeaway?
  13. I literally said there was going to be an announcement that Mike Woodson would be stepping down at the conclusion of the season amidst all the rumors after the Illinois game that he was getting fired and not finishing the season. That’s exactly what is happening.
  14. Because IU isn’t going to forcibly remove a coach in the middle of the season because he lost some games. That’s just not who they are or what they’re about. Never have, never will.
  15. The ignore feature is your friend.
  16. JFC. Mike Woodson still has his job. If he was fired, he’d be out today. Good lord.
  17. Obviously. But had Woodson been “fired” as in terminated, he would be cleaning out his office as we speak. IU will not and has never done that in the middle of the season.
  18. You missed the back and forth I had with that clown last week where I clarified all that. No IU coach has ever been removed from the sideline in the middle of the season due to poor performance. @str8ballerfell for that crap after the Illinois game
  19. Kelvin Sampson resigned in the middle of the season and had nothing to do with performance. Mike Davis wasn’t fired in the middle of the season.
  20. Hmmmmm....everywhere I have worked, if someone was forced to resign, they were being fired...regardless of how many more days they were on the payroll. Resigning and Terminating (fired) from a contractual standpoint have vastly different meanings.
  21. IU will make an official announcement in the next 48 hours that “Mike Woodson is stepping down/retiring at the conclusion of the season”. Pretty standard for these types of things.
  22. Wait....he's not getting fired? They’re forcing him to resign effective at the conclusion of the season. He’s not getting escorted out of the building in the middle of the year like so many thought would happen.
  23. Except I’m not. I told you exactly how this was going to play out and it’s happening to a T. Sorry that you bought all the nonsense saying that he was going to get booted in the middle of the season.
  24. There will be some kind of official announcement before the end of the season detailing the exact exit strategy. Once that is announced, its full go.
