    Oh I could do a lot more, but those seem to be the consensus 1 and 2 to replace Woodson. Peep Jay Wright and Scott Drew’s third season records when you get a minute.

    Pearl was 58. But my point is that those guys weren’t fired after disaster third seasons (like the person I responded to suggested) and instead given time to correct their mistakes. IU is 13-3, 4-1 in the B10 with some incredible opportunities ahead and yet most seem to be fixated on some fantasy that Brad Stevens can’t say no a third time.

    Should I list some of the disaster year 3 records for some of the coaches at other schools that many on here are advocating for?

    He had a single bad year. If every coach who had a single bad year was met with this type of reaction there’d be no more coaches. And getting this caught up on HS recruiting when there’s all out free agency in college basketball is certainly a choice.

    What is Woody’s public persona? He’s arrogant and egotistical? Fits the persona of 95% of those who coach at high level jobs. People felt they were personally wronged on senior day. I stand by that.

    This was never about job performance for some. This is retribution for the butt hurt “fans” who were told to chill out after getting worked into a frenzy over fabricated reports from Rabjohns, “insiders”, etc believing Bruce Pearl was coming to coach the Hoosiers. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Guessing the chances the person I responded too knew that IU was hosting an official for a 25 recruit last night were next to zero.

    So Woodson did host a recruit for an official visit last night? Just wanted clarification as that seems to go against the "not actively recruiting anyone" narrative. I believe that high profile recruit is in Madison this weekend along with Creighton and Virginia after.

    He walked away from a $7mil buyout. He wasn't getting fired despite all the pleas from the fan base.

    Texas didn't fire anyone, Shaka left on his own accord for greener pastures.

    I would hope Dolson assesses the performance of both the team and coach at the conclusion of the season rather than a sect of the "fan" base who would rather cut off their noses to spite their face because they started dancing on Woodson's grave before Thanksgiving.

    Harper “trying” to play probably doomed Rutgers. Harper looked awful and disinterested and probably shouldn’t have played. But why ruin a good narrative?

    I’ve been an active participant on BTown Banners almost daily for nearly a year, sans the week I was with my family at the Atlantis…you know actually watching a team I support. Did you really want me on here after beating the likes of Sam Houston State and Miami? I didn’t think so.

    I don’t actively root for the demise of a sitting head coach and actually want the Hoosiers to win. I’m the furthest thing from a troll. I’m also not miserable either.
