Ciezki is much more than just a 3 point shooter. She gets to the rim. Good defense. High School: Rated at 94 4 stars per ESPN. 5’7” Lucy Olsen rated at 90 3 stars per ESPN 5’9” In all this don’t forget about Bargesser as she will be a factor as well. Fun match ups and games ahead.

And way to early polls do have validity . T. Moren keeping true to her philosophy as Program family cohesiveness with transfer portal being a part of it. Now IU Ladies are a top 25 team and will once again move towards a top 10 team…competing for big ten championship regular season championship, big ten conference championship, and a March Madness tournament run. This version of IU Ladies is moving towards the most depth it’s ever had meaning when players sub in the play maintains continued high level of play. Play does not drop off.

Not sure who will start the most but playing time will be more of a 50/50 split give or take a couple minutes and game situations between Striplin and Meister. Striplin should average doubles figures. Meister will be successful if she can average 10 points. Both, rebound and play solid defense. Meister struggled on offense thus far (lack of playing time behind Mack) as she has a hard time playing in traffic her first two seasons. Maybe, some situational help from Wiseman and Fenn and Currie-Jelks as season progresses.

Shay Ciezki would fit in this scenario very well. And then optional: a highly rated mid range scoring player if available and possible.

IU Ladies just added some physicality to help not only Lilly but also Garzon and physical player Parrish. Lilly 8, 9, 10 and Karoline 10 points per game = 20 points per game. Noted : both Lilly and Karoline were big scorers in high school.

Does UCONN (and South Carolina) and a (couple other programs close) ever recruit any players other than 5 stars? Without UCONN saying a whole lot about anything…just a steady stream of 5 stars committed and signing to play for UCONN.

Seem IU Ladies will have 11 players better.

Team basketball intelligence IQ is a big factor which also coincides with shooting percentages. The 3 ball is a big part of the game nowadays and 3 is more than 2. Plus the old 2 point play plus 1 still equals 3. And then the defense and team quickness and team speed and rebounding and low turnovers and efficiency of execution of it all. All for $6,000,000. One guarantee that all these upgrades/adjustments/money etc do is that in like other programs not meeting expectations….It Buys More Time for Vested Party/s Involved.

Games that IU actually won by a few points among the many losses….Post games even against (not good teams) Coach Woodson will talk about; how good IU played, winning is hard, we made shots, and games come down to the difference of a play or two. That was a great win against a really good team. These are teams that IU should have beat by no less than 15 to 20.

Penn State guard is a guess because of how she fits and her 3 point shooting. Only player I have seen mentioned connecting to IU Ladies. And a good big is needed. I agree about a player like Kiki…but they have to want to come. Maybe, something will happen with a player. Many coaches stress team and player defense and team unity. Though there are over a thousand players in transfer portal there are probably only (give or take a few) 30 to 50 impact players that could be good for IU Ladies…because IU Ladies are just as good as all the others and in many cases better.
