Tennessee coach in comparison makes T. Moren look like All American coach of the year. That’s right T. Moren has already been an All American Coach of the Year. -

Maybe, it’s IU school of medicine Lol. but it seems like for a range of reasons from new born to parental guidance to injury repairs, to player development a lot of investment resulting in go play elsewhere after a year at IU with no more than no or very minimal benefit to IU Ladies basketball. -

Does come back to IU?? All this funny if it wasn’t so crazy. She obviously trying to transition into higher level and maybe some more cash. -
Exactly, and though some think it’s a funny/joke…it does mess player/s heads up sometimes…become head case.. don’t do themselves any favors and actually devalue themselves from WNBA if that was a goal. Unless a certain special special level there are a few… However, Look what both, Holmes and Berger; stayed the course, unbelievable hard work and humble and humility continually. They have and are living the dream with their hearts and heads in tact.

Balance of scale…the current and past administrations as much as they got it wrong in the basketball program during and since Knight…..this current administration at least got it more right in the football program more than the basketball program has been wronged….even though luckily ….because it’s Curt Cignetti who actually got it most right in the football program because that was next to impossible….Dumb and Dumber there’s a one in a million chance….there’s a chance.…and Curt Cignetti has done the next to impossible regarding almost anything….it’s like the football program landed on the moon….and the basketball program ….

Wonder if Caffey and Noyan are finding the transfer portal competition tough going?
-
Dusty May is scheduled to have interview at IU tomorrow before the national championship game on Monday. According to IU Human Relations they found the interview files from April 2024. Finally. But the competition will be tough and he is not expected to get the job. Darn it. I thought he would be a good hire for IU basketball.

Shay Ciezki from Penn State to INDIANA
TTT replied to LamarCheeks's topic in Indiana Women's Basketball
Ciezki is one of the best players and one of the best people. Years down the road she would be one of the considerations to coach the IU Lady Hoosiers though I would not be here to see it…of course among a few others. -
In all these sports and games it would be nice to get rid of the drama fueled by the CC effect. Even the incident between the Miami and IU player after the game. It’s almost everywhere… just need more smoothness rather than everything has to be a dramatic big deal.

Lunacy is a solid description. It’s actually messing up minds of young ladies. It needs to be applied to guys NIL as well. Of course what is GREED to do? -
Coach Curt Cignetti to INDIANA... Forever and Ever, Amen!
TTT replied to mamasa's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
I know it’s probably pretty easy to do National Champs 16-0 and at IU. Cignetti seems to have unmatched player relationships with players. They all (the ones who were impactful/had anything to do with anything seem to like him and enjoy being around him and have this love for him. -

Caffey can always pull out of the transfer portal. However, she is very replaceable with the higher level players in the transfer portal out there if IU Ladies could get 3 or 4 of them. That’s a big ask. Sidenote: Caffey is competitive. Maybe, she is just as competitive in her contract negotiations as well. Love Parrish and her comments coming from her who is in the know. -

Whether unfair or not make recruits sign at least a 2 year contract with penalty attached. Yes not fair. But what is going on now is not fair either. The two years contract might develop problem solving skills and interactional skills growth and development. Isn’t that what college sports is supposed to do. Oh yeah players get stuck for two years…then tough just quit. (an exception could be coaching change). -

The IU Ladies program health is lethargic. It’s going to take more than just a Scalia or a Ciezki. Last paragraph same thing said last year at this time. The very best successful programs yes they have a couple players in transfer portal but have some to take their place and have players in line to commit in recruiting when called. -

Regarding those two big time. Neither would have been what they developed under T. Moren. (Garzon took a step backward rather than stepping forward this year which could be seen coming from a mile away because T. Moren coached her to reach her best potential). Both, inexcusable!!!!
