  1. The game is played inside out
  2. Some men just like to watch the world burn
  3. For the record I DONT want ANY DM’s unless they are confirming that Woody’s return is just a really early April fools gag. (kidding)
  4. I wish I understood what happened today
  5. How does one block another poster?
  6. Isn’t @Chris007’s wife out of town? He has no excuses!
  7. I did! When I saw I had 12 pages to work through I got VERY excited. Now that dinner is over I need everyone to pick up the slack and get me another hit of dopamine!!!
  8. You all really fall off after hours. Come on boys! What’s the skinny? What’s the latest scoop? Who’s got a tidbit or a morsel to pass along? Which way is the wind blowing? What are you hearing?!
  9. Right. And he’s gone next year anyway, what’s the worry?
  10. You all have to stop engaging. Let’s get back to talking about a new coach!!
  11. IMO Woody leaving with his head held high is part of a best-case scenario. Rattling off a few wins against weaker opponents does NOT buy him more time, but it does allow him to leave on a high-note.
  12. No, no, no. We’re still praying. But you are ‘persona non grata’ until you tell me what my itching ears want to hear. (I kid)
  13. I know. I would like to hear more about this as well, @Chris007
  14. I would have accepted, “I go to bed every night wishing I hadn’t sat on an open scholarship.” This answer, however, is a joke.
  15. I’m not gonna doom. This game didn’t do anything to prove that CMW should be the coach moving forward. We won at home after blowing a 15 point lead to a flailing Wiscy team. If the admin are looking for reasons to save a sub-par coach they’ll need to do better than that. The first loss next year will be start an avalanche of negativity. Imho CMW has to win several games including games we have no business winning.
  16. How much would a win tonight set back our new coach hopes?
  17. First, I want change as much as anyone. HOWEVER when it comes to the things we LOVE the MOST it’s really easy to criticize and complain about those who we feel are letting us down. So, I’ve felt convicted. CMW has a tough job. Many of the miscues are of his own doing, BUT I suspect there are LOTS factors that have been out of his control. Perhaps he prideful (many high-achievers are). Maybe he’s out of his depth (I’ve been there before). Maybe he needs wisdom… we all do. With that said I’d encourage you to pray for CMW. I don’t think that means you have to want him to continue being the coach, but I do think that keeps things in perspective. He is a professional and he hasn’t produced the way he should. BUT he’s also a man, and all of us could use the prayer— especially him. Not only that— praying for HIM will keep US from falling prey to the arrogance and pride that some have sensed in him. No need to reply. Just food for thought from one Hoosier to the rest.
