  1. 18 is still crazy for a 5'10" guard in my opinion....most guards you come away happy if they get you 5 reb.
  2. 22 rebs for any guard is quite impressive...
  3. Depends where you go lol at good old Clay City they are still $2!
  4. Northview is the north end of Clay County...they have had a nice year, but I don't think they have anything for Indian Creek lol
  5. Its to try and recoup some money and combat people not coming to the game because they can watch it for free.....I do understand it. If you are going to go in person, unless you are by yourself, you will pay more than $10 at the gate.
  6. To be fair....its easy to say that but Purdue didn't offer either, and most will say they have done a good job with in-state kids (rather we like it or not)..He has just progressed better than some thought.
  7. I agree with this and maybe McNeely is here for 1 or 2 years…Sisley probably stays for 4 and when he is done is a monster. This is the thing where Purdue kills us…we have some really good 19-20 year olds…they have some good 19-20 year olds and some good 21-22 year olds…have to have some top of the line guys but you also need some 75-100ranked guys that stay for 4 years and develop.
  8. True right now, but seems we have a good shot with Queen…if that works out then who knows…also Woodson has done his best recruiting work in the spring…might help if he’d start in the summer/fall for the next year lol
  9. I hear you but you do realize almost all the great coaches struggled for a few years first…he got us back to the Tourney, and still could this year. ( we had rough stretches the ost two years and made it in) if you fire Woodson, you lose McNeely and probably any hope of the 25’ class (Sisley, Haralson, Mullins, etc…) now your 2 years into another rebuild. I’d let this season play out and at least give him a shot next year and see which way the arc of the program is. Trust me I’m as frustrated as anyone with the team right now, but if you keep firing every 4 or 5 years there will never be continuity and the program will always be on shaky ground…let hope he pulls it together for 24 and 25 and rides off in the sunset and May or a young stud coach comes in to restore the program to its rightful place
  10. I’d like to hear you say that to her face…lol nothing wrong with good ole Clay County! The Eels are on fire this year!
  11. Hey now lol it’s not like I’m from Owen County!
  12. I do think Woodson does deserve another year to see what he can do...and this year isn't over by any means. It would be pretty cool if Dusty May was his eventual successor though.....I live in Clay County, neighboring Dusty's home county, Greene County. I also have played sports with (as an adult basketball, volleyball, softball) and against (in school) against some of Dusty's relation, so I feel like that would be pretty cool!
  13. I agree and disagree...I think Ware would be the one he wants gone. He and Malik could exist together. They both have similar skill sets, great on the block, great passers, and with Malik now hitting some 3's (Queen can too)....they can play together with no issue. I would love to see him and Malik together!
  14. Wonder if IU could go after Conner Essegian this year if he’s enter the portal…scorer/shooter and has seen his minutes diminish at …pair him with McNeely and if MM stays…your shooting is fixed
  15. I agree....do things need fixed? Absolutely....Do we need X and Gallo to pick it up? absolutely.....do we need to find a better substitution routine? I think so, can't be hockey style....regardless we are still in solid shape if we can continue to win our home games and steal a couple road wins, as you stated...Look at our losses- (I get they were ugly but) Top 5 Kansas, top 5 UCONN, top 20 Auburn, Nebraska(who just beat Purdue handily at home as well), and then Rutgers (probably our worst loss, but have to remember at Rutgers they are a tough win to get...I also think if X doesn't pull an idiot move we still may have been able to pull that game off. I know we played poorly but we actually had a little momentum going and it was a what 3 point game at the time) Bad losses- none....If at Rutgers is our worst loss of the year I think this team sneaks in. If you look at the Ohio St. game, this team is capable...Just hope we stay capable.
  16. This could be a great weekend, or a terrible weekend….IU, Colts, Pacers….al at the same time (why?!!?!??!??) The great news is my son has baseball indoor workouts from 7-8:30 so I’ll be late to the party for it all….taping and skipping some commercials!! If they all lose it’s going to be a long week….if I had to choose one loss I’d choose the Pacers just because they have a lot of season left..the other two feel like must wins…I’m prepared to be disappointed

  19. I kind of took it as he likes the coaches, etc…but they are coming a little slow because he was committed to Providence early…in other words there is just starting to be a lot of communication….i could be way off but it was a weird quote for sure lol
  20. Well get the NIL tied up for me boys…we go and they hit 12 triples!!! And win comfortably
  21. I’m going…taking my boys ages 5 and 9, and my wife to their second game ever…hopefully they’ll bring them luck…if so you all can rally up some NIL money to get me tickets to home games for the rest of the year…
  22. johnharrell.net It has all the scores, schedules, and rankings for Indiana...no write ups but it will lead you to every score in the state!

  24. I also see similarities between Queen and Malik…Queen just has a little more size
