    Sure was and I really miss the camera angle that Assembly Hall use to have. It made you feel like you was right there in the game action.

    We will always have less money than the top big ten teams. Just look at game day revenue and we make half what teams with 100,000 seats make. I would bet those schools get a lot more donor money going to be he football program than we do. Only thing that is even is the TV money.

    I remember in 89 Jackson and Vitale did 3 straight Saturday or Sunday IU game in 1989 all at home. Each game came down to Jay Edwards hitting late shots and two of them were game winners. The other was when Anderson from UI hit a 35 ft. shot at the buzzer.

    For me it is so hard to follow what is actually going on in the game. Sometimes you.can't tell if it is a 3 yard gain or a 20 yard gain.

    When I was young there were announcers when you heard their voice you knew it was a big game. Pat Summerall, D. Enberg, Al Micheals, Vin Scully

    I like Fisch for basketball but I think he is terrible at football announcing

    He did one of our tournament games in 92 and he did NBA games for NBC

    What people are saying that is only one year and we had that same kind of year 2 years ago. People are acting like we haven't had the same kind of year that KU is having. We were 8-5 and 6-2 so we had that same kind of season.

    If you would listen to Walton announcing from the 90's he was actually pretty good and actually talked about game.
