Brad is definitely our white whale for sure. From what I've heard the Mrs. has always been the big obstacle in getting him to Bloomington. They have 2 kids but as we know kids take less work as they get older and maybe they're at the point where she no longer needs Brad at home all the time. Stranger things have happened. I've warmed up to Dusty. A gamble for sure but could be a grand slam. He took over FAU from another former NBA HC and NBA player (sounds familiar) who was God awful as FAU finished 14th, 12th, 11th, and 11th and only won 31% of his games. Meanwhile, Dusty has had a winning record every single year he's been at FAU and has had them top 5 of Conference USA every year since year 3. A remarkable turnaround.

Agree. Dusty could be a grand slam. Could be another Archie. Do we want to take that chance? Pearl has the personality and the skill set to kill it here. As would Beard. Might be better to take the sure thing vs the risky hire who happens to be a lot younger.

They don't want to win. I'm convinced at this point. There have too many home run hires they've passed on over the years. Nothing else makes any sense. Unless they can get a Stevens, Donovan, Wright (someone squeaky clean and who they can control which is never happening) they don't want to win. At least not if there's butts in the seats and money keeps flowing in.
