This felt like a gut punch. -

So Goodman just waged war against the entire IU fanbase. Good luck to him. I wanna see him to change his last name to Badman or Wrongman or Incorrectman. -

What, did Goodman talk to Brad's neighbors? -

Discount only on the lenses, not on the frame. Or the other way around. -

I think timing is impeccable this time. 8 years in Boston is a long time. IMO, Stevens' personality fits better to the college games where he can be a mentor and a teacher for young players. -

Why not Jordan Hulls? Did he retire or still playing? -

I don't know it could be just me, but I don't think IU fans in general would ask anything unrealistic to Stevens. It's takes time for a new coach to recruit his players and implement his system. And Stevens wouldn't come here if he doesn't have aspirations to win national championships. -

Did he really say 'hicks'? Wow, Brad Stevens should be offended. -

Problem is I can't sit back and relax. Couldn't get my work done last few days. -

Is this real? Are there people betting money on IU's next coach? -

What his Butler teams struck me most was how hard they played. They were certainly lesser talented but relentless and didn't easily give up. -

Can Purdue help us out and hire Archie so IU won't need to pay the buyout? -

Totally reasonable. There's always a chance that things go to a different direction, so we never know until both parties sign on dotted lines. But even if this doesn't turn out to be a grand slam but a foul ball, I would still feel good about the whole situation because we finally got a good leader in Scott Dolson. He's committed to excellence in men's basketball. I gotta say future is bright either way. -

And Dakich also agrees with some callers wanting him to become the new IU coach. A classic narcissist. But I found he made a lot of good points. -

I think that's what most national pundits just don't get it about the 'Brad Stevens to IU' thing. They don't understand the 'Indiana' connection and loyalty. Dakich said it right on his radio show. Things are just different in Indiana. A coach has to have deep understanding of the state and the IU basketball to succeed. -
Looks like decisions will be pretty easy for the players.

All the money that will be spent for IU men's basketball will now be worth every penny because we're going to win and win big. $$$ will be flowing to IU. -

Thanks for sharing! I feel numb right now. After 20 years of agony, we finally got our guy. In-state kids will be dying to play for Coach Stevens. -

Are Celtics players giving up on Stevens? Cavs just snapped 4-game losing streak. -

Looks like Celtics would pull this off. -
I think he said what he had to say. He doesn't need any distraction for his team. But I do appreciate he took time to explain the history of IU basketball to his team. I guess that's something not every coach would do.

Oh no I don't think and never thought I was doing any favor for this place. I was thankful that I was able to join this board after HSN crashed. In fact, I saw a lot of familiar names from the old scout site and felt like this was some sort of reunion.
