    Is the prevailing assumption that McKneely is in play? I saw the outreach on Adragna's tracker. I don't know how the defense shakes out, but McKneely/Devries/Goode on the wings would drive teams nuts.

    After Banks' explosion this year, I'm expecting big years from a couple of those guys. Doesn't mean they should stay or would be a fit. Just means their talent was grossly mismanaged this year.

    Bozich broke the Woodson news because that's what the athletic department wanted. You're insinuating the athletic department wants to leak the news this time opposed to a formal announcement? Don't buy it. He's speculating like everyone else.

    Your mistake is taking every poster talking about BS and white whales literally. Brad Stevens the candidate may or may not be real. Instead, consider it a state of mind. It's a demonstration of hope, optimism for better days, and a belief that the next coach to come through will take us to new heights. No one should be taking this thread so seriously. JMO of course.

    I'm obviously not saying they don't need a staff & GM. I'm saying any strong candidate for this job should already know what they need and have people in mind to fill those roles without the AD trying to mitigate shortcomings on his own.

    I don't dislike McCollum but I have immediate concerns about any candidate that needs the AD to immediately build up a support system to cover gaps in his ability to run a big-time program. That's such a red flag.
