  1. So he's going to commit to Auburn since he also left UK without committing? Or does that only apply to IU?
  2. Nice. A more subtle and polite version of "shut the **** up." A bit passive aggressive, though.
  3. Board vibe yesterday and somewhat today.
  4. I see Edwards was an assistant at Montverde. He'd probably still have connections there and have an in at Kevin Boyle's new school. We also see what the player development is like at Montverde and it's good. I agree, Edwards would be a good addition.
  5. Norton, Adams, and Johnson. Am I forgetting someone because that would mean two more assistant coaches if Bargen isn't one? Sturtz is probably going to be DOBO and not an assistant coach.
  6. Correct, he'd call instead.
  7. We already have 2 DDs associated with IU right now. I'm not sure we need a 3rd. That could get really confusing. Seriously, though, he has some nice stats and high major experience and it looks like probably 2 years of eligibility.
  8. So we're going to be getting real time updates from you on the visits and any commitments? :)
  9. Rabby is saying he's heard that Bargen has a good "offensive mind." Looked at Bradley last year. ORtg: 113.3 (54th) FG%: 48.3% (23th) 3P%: 39.8% (1st) - 124th on 3PA at 24.0 lots of good 3point shooters on the team (obviously)
  10. Trevor Andershock at peegs says that Brad Underwood is trying to help Goode get his medical waiver. Classy move, although I can't quite look past how bad of idea it was to play Goode at all that season.
  11. I hope he brings just as much success to Miller and Texas as he brought to IU.
  12. Murphy is out according to Goodman.
  13. This is just 1 of many red flags which should have excluded him from being hired in the first place. He didn't change at all from his time in the NBA. https://www.basketballnetwork.net/latest-news/jeff-teague-on-why-mike-woodson-was-the-worst-coach-he-played-for
  14. Rabby says we might add a 4th high major game. If so, it would probably be in Bloomington.
  15. I guess Trilly is saying Kenny Johnson and Mike Bargen are possibilities. I think everyone remembers Kenny Johnson and Bargen's info is below. I saw this on peegs so I don't know exactly what Trilly said, just passing it on. https://bradleybraves.com/staff-directory/mike-bargen/200
  16. Seems legit so how could you possibly pass up the opportunity for this kind of insider info!?
  17. It's online so it must be true.
  18. As far as the 4/5 player coming, Eric from HH posted on peegs that he spoke to some others who were on the call and they don't remember CDD saying it that way. Seems like this is probably a good example of telephone, like we often see on message boards. So it seems like that isn't going to happen in the timeline mentioned in the video.
  19. Damn The Man! Oh, wait, this is the good "The Man." Never mind.
  20. I hope IU gets to a point where they are able to do this if they have some mid-major coach they want to take over but not quite yet. Coach-in-waiting has worked out for Purdue and Duke. Even if IU doesn't go that route, just having the stability for it to be a possibility would be nice for a change.
  21. It looks like the NIL clearinghouse may never come to be. Even if it does, I doubt it'll last long before getting sued out of existence. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/2025/04/07/house-ncaa-settlement-hearing-live-updates-college-sports/82968197007/ The judge had a concern about this, among a few other things: ●The justification for a setup under which athletes’ name, image and likeness deals with entities other than their school that have a value of more than $600 would be subject to a review process to assess their legitimacy within the marketplace and such a deal with an athlete advances what is being termed by the NCAA and the conferences as “a valid business purpose.” Wilken's concerns with rules around athlete NIL deals with third parties Judge Wilken says she needs a "pro-competitve justification" for the proposed system under the settlement that would set up a more stringent evaluation by the NCAA and conferences of the athletes' NIL deals that are worth more than $600. That is, how would this promote competition for athletes' NIL services and how would it not hurt athletes. Kilaru says these evaluations are necessary to prevent circumvention of the schools' annual cap on direct NIL payments to athletes and that it's part of the overall agreement. Wilken reponds: "Each thing (in the agreement) needs to be reasonable."
  22. Because why would he want to come to IU, right?
