  1. Maybe he only wanted McNeeley thinking it would help to land Queen, who was the real prize as an inside player. Everyone knows the college game is played inside out. Since we missed on Queen, McNeeley wasn't needed anymore since he's a 3-point shooter.
  2. Woodson's claim to fame will be being the First to be the Worst in the expanded B1G. He'll make sure he wins that competition by a mile.
  3. I was thinking like this: Liam: Coach, I am decommitting and want a release from my NLI. Woodson: Sorry, I don't recognize this number. Who is this? Liam: Liam McNeeley. You're only recruit next year. Woodson: I see. Well, Lucas, we'll be sad to see you go, son. We thought you would do a great job of feeding the post.
  4. The picture had a whole wine bottle.
  5. Probably got scared off by the possibility of Mgbako and Galloway returning combined with the top level guards we'll get from the portal. Afraid he wouldn't get enough shots. Yep, that must be it. It's the only explanation that makes sense.
  6. Why is everyone complaining? Nothing to see here, it's all good.
  7. I believe this way more than the fanbase. Everyone says that IU doesn't shoot enough 3s and Woody disagrees then says college ball in played inside-out. Ugly, boring offense all season with lots of losses. Then the report above that after the commitment, Woodson stops recruiting him. I totally believe that. This decommitment isn't unexpected to me.
  8. The coaching staff:
  9. Lawrence Funderburke? He was at IU then transferred, that is why he had to sit out a year. Liam does need to get a release from the LOI, but it is rare for a coach/school to deny that. When they do, they get dragged in the media.
  10. I was expecting this, so I'm not surprised. Meanwhile, the IU admin:
  11. He'll be the excuse on why we couldn't land good guards since he's already taking all 5 of the team's 3-point attempts per game.
  12. I messaged an uncle, who's always been a huge IU fan and watched every game, a few weeks ago during one of the games. He wasn't watching and hadn't watched for several games. So that's one (I guess 2 if you count me) that are quickly losing interest in IU basketball. Anecdotal, I know, but I imagine that is probably happening across the fanbase.
  13. Because they don't want to just feed the post? The offense is boring by design and I don't know if many guards will want to play that style.
  14. IU has good teams in these sports: women's basketball, soccer, men and women's swimming and diving, baseball.
  15. What? We're not Kentucky. They have success.
  16. I'm 46 and tbh I didn't know who he was until his name came up during a previous coaching search.
  17. Wait a second... Rick Majerus has been dead only 11 years. I'm starting to think you might not actually be the Ghost of Rick Majerus...
  18. Another planet is much, much closer than a light year.
  19. That's not saying much. Better than a terrible coach doesn't mean he's good. Lots of room between Allen level of bad to good that Woodson can also be bad or terrible. (hint: he is)
  20. Same school but not the same people.
  21. Other head coaches don't like him? Is that what you're implying?
  22. I see you're still in the denial stage of grief. Don't worry, it'll get better and we'll help you through. No, Woodson will not resign. He'll be back.
  23. Too bad he waited until the games were meaningless. It also doesn't hurt that they've been against the bottom half of the conference.
  24. No. The dog is innocent. You can say bad things about his dog to him, though.
