  1. Come on down Latrell, we're all looking forward to seeing you play for IU!
  2. Preseason polls mean jacksh$t. couldn’t care less and what’s the point anyway— anyone who has actually followed DeVries’ coaching career can see he can coach, now it’s about how he builds the program, recruiting and portal.
  3. In just a few short clips from the event/practice — inside out with a p&r to a 3, perimeter ball swing to the open 3, inside to top of the key, hesitation step back 3, an alley oop, rotations, communication…. Yeah, actual coaching, actual actions, sets for shooting, guys playing hard in a HH scrimmage. We have turned the page
  4. Looks like the real turnout was for last night
  5. I figured it out. Magnets
  6. Hear you. But in context she’s talking recruiting. A year ago doesn’t talk about what the 4 returning plsyers are. That’s the current group of 25s
  7. I think you’re reading in to deep there. She’s talking recruiting. She’s been saying they need to get more athletic and bigger. She’s commenting on the progress in that direction
  8. Or some of Crean's...
  9. No real way of knowing, it's all conjecture w/o studies, but I'll agree to disagree. Weight training generally doesn't grow bone density or strengthen ACL's or Achilles. Side note from personal experience, former hockey player. I grew huge thighs through weight training and extensive ice time/practices and playing year long including in Canada, I was the fastest skater on my teams. I ended up having my thigh muscle in one leg literally pull my hip apart because the bone density/hip was not developed as a late teenager to handle the strength.
  10. It does seem like that. Personally, w/no studies or proof to back it up, I tend to think it's a result of the significantly increased strength training including weight room legwork.
  11. ^^ What a nice combination of likeable - competitive players. We're going to enjoy watching these guys compete.
  12. SIAP - always nice to see IU FB and Mendoza on front page of ESPN, even if it's an 'apology' https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46408660/indiana-qb-mendoza-sorry-cooked-spreads-late-safety
  13. 70’s and 90’s were the best decades of rock, hands down.
  14. Hey it works for Southwest Airline!
  15. Definitely good news to hear, full strength team by start of noncon, let’s go
  16. Love this commitment- she really looks like a warrior, welcome aboard Gigi!
  17. Thanks for posting this
  18. I heard Moren say both Makalusky and Caffey are expected to contribute. This sounds like a season ./ team for which Moren is comfortable playing the incoming Frosh -- she is high on both. This clip is definitely worth the listen -- after you get past the slow intro before Moren joins. Moren also was clearly very high on Z. What I really, really liked hearing was Moren saying / recognizing that the team had to get more athletic and bigger, and that this team is more athletic, several players who can really push in the open floor. Very much looking forward to seeing how this team develops over the season.
  19. Same. I think a number of the above posts underestimate her. Moren rode experience in the national team play and Zania is coming off her frosh season, but imo here comes the frosh to soph jump and Moren will utilize and help grow her game now that she’s more experienced
