Attended maybe 400 games in TAH and was present for the aforementioned MD game where a racist chant took place among a small group of students. We never heard it but read about it afterwards. Outside of that the F Bomb chants from the students is the worst we have heard.

Regardless of his ability to be a difference maker, IU just lost depth and a bigger body in practice. He is looking for someone who will use him differently and that is fine. Best wishes to a good kid and true student athlete. IU type of young man.

Awesome young man who will likely be a success in business or law whenever he hangs up the sneakers. Have that Kelley degree on top of being a good looking engaging former D1 athlete on the biggest stage will serve him well.

If that is true, Painter needs to step in and shut that down. But Painter is stinging and may not see it that way.

He also brings with him the baggage of "Treed" his Mom who is all over the message boards. Howard may have told her to knock it off.

In general, Painter's comments were spot on however he may have been better served waiting a week before that interview as his emotions allowed him to throw the kids under the bus. To their credit, neither player has clapped back at him...yet.

That is assuming all of the newcomers are all contributing day one and that rarely happens.

Purdue fans are pretty consistently calling both of these defections addition by subtraction and that both were going to lose most of their minutes. Painter always did well with that lock down defender so I think the Easter loss hurts them.

What the world learned from Fred hoiberg is that people are willing to make really poor selfish decisions. Some controls need to be in place.

Franklin has a chance to be very good. I understand that there is a lot of competition for minutes but he can be a solid Hoosier.

I was thinking the same thing. He would be buried at KY and i don't think Cal has the temperament for the "look at me" style of Harms.

I chose Butler to maintain the Border War concept which is the theme...and Butler draws a lot better in Indy than does Purdue.

Hopefully Dolson ends the CC and replaces it with something more intriguing. CC is an IU event that subsidizes the AD coffers of three other programs. Would suggest an event featuring IU, KY, UL and Butler in LOS.

Yes, this accomplishes many things. Gives even more young players a chance to develop and live out their dream before moving on. So many baseball players have benefitted from this. And it doesn't feed the mockery of college academic standards.

A G league that pays well is the right answer and solves 90% of the issues discussed here. Give kids who are not interested or ready for college a chance to go pro and not make a mockery of the university process.

After watching him play a couple of AAU games he was among the most impressive physical players I have ever seen. His ten cent head neutralized his physical ability.
