  1. Is this the best environment AH has had all year mens or womens? Probably
  2. These refs are so damn ticky tacky with CC. The inconsistency is what kills me. And the commentators in these games always seem to undercut anything good IU does. We get no respect nationally. Love the way they're playing tonight! Keep it up ladies
  3. Liked seeing CTM get on the official's a$$ for that one. Holy cow what a joke. Nice way to close out the quarter. Like the opposite of the mens team this year.
  4. Well, you'd have to hope he can build a competitive roster this offseason. If he pulls a Shaheen and takes Johnell Davis with him + a few others, manages to retain Reneau and a few others + some portal pick ups, it could work. I think Pearl would be better able to turn things around quickly. But hope we wouldn't regret the opportunity cost of not moving on May... either is a huge upgrade IMO
  5. Chloe is begging for a foul playing CC like that lol. CC and XJ have something in common!
  6. How many NIT at large bids are there?
  7. It makes me so happy to see an Assembly Hall crowd cheering on a competitive team at home. And a Hoosier team that plays hard and smart.
  8. I think Pearl's buyout drops to 8.5M in April. Woody is owed $12.6M? Not sure if that can be negotiated down... Pearl would need a salary of probably $6-6.5M. So total pricetag would be, let's just call it conservatively $28-30M. I'm sure the math for May is much more favorable. But it ain't my money. If Dolson can get donors to cough up the coin, would certainly reflect well on him. Pearl or May and I'll be like a kid on Christmas.
  9. That was around when we played them. This article came out two days ago... seems like a planted story by the Pearl camp. Signal? Leverage for a raise? Who knows...
  10. Auburn coach Bruce Pearl has an enormous amount of respect for the "blueblood Indiana basketball program,'' and he would have loved to coach there. “Indiana was my dream job, it really was. I love everything about Indiana basketball. The timing was never right, I suppose. Nothing ever really aligned, but it would have been a dream come true to coach Indiana. That's how much I love and respect that program.''
  11. If he comes back next year, I will not think he is a nice guy. Lol
  12. This board would buy your buddy so many steak dinners if he managed to pull that one off
  13. Yeah I can understand not wanting Pearl coz of age/buyout but his performance at Auburn is just not a good point IMO. He's had more 20+ win seasons than any of our coaches other than Knight and we've had 4 30+ win seasons, Pearl's already had 1 at Auburn.
  14. You'll be a 5-star recruit in no time kid.
  15. Congrats for being at the top of the page. How many hundred more left to go? Do we want to start making odds?
  16. Right. Breaking the law is bad. Breaking NCAA rules? Most of the time, the rules are pretty obscure and dumb anyway.
  17. Amen brother. I'd be thrilled with either next year.
  18. That's what agents/lawyers are for, right? If he wants it so bad, "make it happen guys..." The timing never works out that cleanly anyway, so it's a moot point IMO
  19. Wasn't referencing that specifically
  20. I really don't care about coaches helping kids get free stuff, NIL money, make connections, etc. I do care about coaches covering up actual crimes (not NCAA violations that are often silly), recruiting drug dealers/etc., or being a drunkard domestic abuser themself. I'm guessing Pearl has learned a lot since 2014, and the NCAA has also drastically lost leverage. I'm not concerned about his ability to represent IU in a respectable way that meets our standards. I'm all for "second chances" in this instance, if you're really so concerned about him being a "bad guy." Bruce Pearl's never actually done anything truly abhorrent, unlike another "candidate" who shall remain unnamed
  21. Our last one was 22 years ago. Bruce's was in 2019. The man is aging like fine wine as a coach and showing no signs of slowing down.
