Loaded Chicken Sandwich

Archie has been given an auto 3 seasons so his guys could get in there. We've seen the Top 25 for 5 weeks. Illinois had two bad seasons in Underwood's first two seasons. 3rd season Illinois finishes 4th in the B1G at 13-7 and was 21st in the last poll(spent 8 weeks in the Top 25 including the final poll). Illinois has been much better and it isn't close.

Let's all be real here... The writing was on the wall for this era after the very first game of Archie tenure.

Oh yay a sunshine pumper who only pumps to stay in some people's good graces because they are scared to ever face reality.

Everything they want to do is based off history. Can't build a new arena because Assembly Hall is full of too much history. Can't have new jerseys because of history. Can't have names on the jerseys because of history. Can't do this or that. It's dumb.

Well Archie still needs time for his guys. He needs to go through full recruiting cycles so that his guys can get old and then we will be good.

We had already been NC State and UK by this time in Creans 4th year. By this exact time in 2011 we were 12-0 with wins over Notre Dame, NC State and Kentucky. ND was a 7 seed, NC State was an 11 seed and Kentucky had probably a Top 5 team of the decade. There was a ton of excitement at this point in Creans career. And people were probably over excited because of what we had been through as a program the previous 3.5 seasons. Now... People just watch out of habit I think. We want to win but are used to losing.

I'd say that the two go hand in hand.

Not much of a product to enjoy anymore. I guess we can all pretend it's 2012 all over again. Or before then even. We can just start at Zellers commitment.

Sadly it is looking like it'll be a 5-7 win season in conference. Archie really shouldn't last after this season. He will 100% lose the fan base.

And where is Chris007? Haven't heard any good stuff from him lately. He's the one who let us know that Smith and Durham were causing some problems last year and not Green and Davis.

As a Sophomore, you're a vet in today's game. You get one year of "freshmen mistakes." Problem is that we have Senior guards making high school freshman mistakes.

The players are also the ones consistently put in a place to fail thanks to a terrible system.

He won more at UCLA than Archie has here by a 100 miles. I don't want Fife. For all the bad that can be said about Alford's past, the same can be said with Fife in his time at MSU and the things may have known about. And I wouldn't care to bring back Sampson. He's not going to get in trouble anymore.

Didn't get to watch the game. But I see Dosunmu scored half what we did. Did Phinisee not start? Lander should be starting over Durham next.

Sadly yes. We've been able to score 80 before. 89 against Tennessee Tech and 87 against Northern Alabama. So we can do it against Illinois.

We might have to score 80 to win this one. Maybe 90.

Saban left because he wasn't succeeding in Miami. Stevens and Donovan have been good in the NBA.

At this point, I'd rather have Alford.

Because it just isn't happening. Ant college coach is well settled into his spot at a school and guys like Stevens and Donovan would be stupid to leave HC jobs in the NBA for a college job.

It was supposed to be Green and Davis... I believe it was Smith and Durham.

I don't really think he knows much. Which is odd.

Well he is young and has been under K for quite sometime. We aren't going to be getting anyone who has been highly successful. It'll just never happen. We have to get a has been or swing for the fences. Seems like a smart guy. Was a great player at Duke and a champion. Someone that could relate a lot to these younger guys. But... He might be the guy next in line at Duke too.

I'd say he should be a top candidate to get a job somewhere. Even at 33.
