We have the worst dline in the conference. They get owned on every play and leave the tackling to everyone else. When they lose their gap they break it for a huge game.

There’re also not a State school with enrollment over 50k, with hundreds of thousands of alumni nearby and their local community doesn’t support them outside of Evanston. I don’t expect their attendance to change but I thought we could at least be 90% full today. A win and we will either be ranked or on the cusp

He’s been hot garbage all day but all I can guess is they want to give him reps so he can get going? Their backups are way better than him at this point. Their OC isn’t exactly helping with his play calling

Maybe, they’ve been a bit of an enigma this season but game 1 at their place would have been an upset in my opinion. Hopefully Wommack was able to “prepare for all the things they want to do” this week. Hearing his comments about preparing for Nebraska’s offense last week was embarrassing

I think their record is deceiving. We’ll find out today but they’ve lost to Wisconsin, MSU, Iowa, OSU and Stanford which are all teams we have or likely would have lost to as well. Nebraska being the only outlier and they only lost to them by 3. I think we’re better than they are but our guys better show up today and play like it or we’ll be in trouble. Defense has to play better today and keep the pressure on their QBs. Here to rooting for IU going 1-0 this week. Go Hoosiers!

Any word on Ramsey’s injury? They said on the broadcast it looked like a potential sternum bruise which hurts like hell but shouldn’t keep him out if called upon this week. However if it’s a broken rib that could be a different story

I honestly don’t know but if there are zero perimeters around how much a kid can make on “his likeness” then there’s no way to ensure that’s even what is going on. This looks like shoe companies and boosters will be able to funnel top talent to the school of their liking and that would be a disaster for the sport.
