How many were even supposed to be close? IU improved a lot throughout the season and I don’t expect anything different this year. The primary difference being that we aren’t getting our ***** beat by scrubs this year.

We lost the Duke game 90-69. We had a 90-69 loss last year too... it was to Indiana State. Took a 20 point beating by Ft. Wayne too. We went on to compete in tight games with MSU, OSU, and PU. Don’t freak out just yet.

I’m definitely one to get on here and vent during the games, but we need to keep in mind where we were at the beginning of last year and where we were at the end. IU was in some close games against some good teams and just couldn’t get over the hump. A few of those games go a different direction and we were a tournament team. We’re still relatively young, we’ve had injury trouble, and we still have a walk-on and a grad transfer from a non-power conference playing a decent amount of minutes. I don’t think it’s as bad as people are making it out to be.

Our inbounds plays need some work. Way too much standing around.
