  1. Why would that happen?
  2. "Stirtz is, at best, a 5th best starter on a good team"
  3. Who said we don't have room for a big off the bench? Honestly, it doesn't really surprise me you seem confused by a pretty simple subject. We have little minutes left to sell, which is why names that have been thrown around are silly, thus far, most of them, anyways. I pray you are no longer confused.
  4. Burton, Mustaf are excellent drivers... Also... 3pt shooting was not a STRENGTH of last year's team, at all... outside of Lamar... we shot 6.5/19.7 from 3 per game, 32.9%
  5. which is what I said FROM THE START....
  6. Idk? Read the thread, look at twitter, check HSN.... Page was one that stuck out to me--- as in, "no way we have a role for him"... although a different position from a true big, but someone that can play the 4 a little... Cade Tyson was mentioned.
  7. No names have been mentioned? lol that's a wild statement.
  8. not with some of the names being mentioned as options for that role. Good grief.
  9. average.. I don't think they average it. But it'll happen some. The next big guy we sign will know that. I have no idea what you mean with the bolded. They've not really prioritized another 4, I'd say that's pretty telling on how they feel about Trent. He won't "earn it" in games, it'll be the work he's done in the offseason/and in the weight room.
  10. That isn't plenty. You don't have to pencil Sisley in for anything, I'm going to for 12-18 a night. 14-18mpg--- that's on average. When Samet, Sherrell both play 32-33 mins in the big games... that number drops drastically. Samet 29 Sherrell 27 Sisley 15 That leaves 9 mins..
  11. I don't think shooting will be a weakness, it might not be a strength, but I think we will be middle of the road there... Harris, Lindsay, Burton, Sherrell are all more than capable shooters--- We should be significantly better in the ability to breakdown the defense off the dribble--- and way more guys who can operate in a PnR/PnP situations.
  12. I can for sure see a need for another 5 AND another 4, and as you mentioned for depth.. I don't think a guard will play much at all, if signed.
  13. We'd be damn lucky to get Sam Alexis for the minutes we have available. Michael Durr would be very solid, too. I don't think fans are how little we have left to "sell" someone on coming here. In just a very respectful way, I don't agree with this at all. Karvala+Moody I full expect to be in the Top 10/11. And, if they aren't able to do that, I don't know that we scouted all that well.
  14. Either way.. I'd like to reiterate... our 2024 team should NOT have been playing on the road in the playoffs. Our loss was AT OHIO STATE, Notre Dame lost AT HOME vs A MAC SCHOOL
  15. To get Olsen with who else we have would be pretty tremendous.
  16. FAU started 6'1 Kanaan Carlyle 6'5 Parker 6'10 Seems like he could compliment Sherrell well, if they are in the game together.
  17. Thats as a transfer, as a recruit he was listed as a 4 and played the 4 for FAU.
  18. Parker had some huge rebounding games. In his last 15 games .. he avged 14p 9r I'm not sure why this kids listed as a guard anywhere. He isn't. He's a 4. I would like this add a lot.. (just looking at numbers and a short video).. we need another 4 more than a center. Plus he has 3 years.. Grab Parker-- a Hatton like center, and PG that's probably Hattons type level... and thats a solid roster.
  19. Looks more like a 4 than a guard. In conference-- 28MPG 12p 8r
  20. Looks like he probably waited too long
  21. Samet avged 29 last year, Sherrell 25. Mustaf didn't come here for a role reduction
  22. Sherrell 30 Samet 30 Sisley 15 Harris 26 Lindsay 26 Burton 32 Mustaf 26 15 mins left.... 5 mins at the 4/5, 10 mins at the 1-3. We have very little left to sell in terms of minutes, realistically speaking. And that's with knowing nothing about Moody, Karvala.
