Guess I didn't see anyone say to "bench him". Also wanting to get a look at what Penix can do is not the same as wanting Ramsey benched imo. There are opportunities to see Penix is all. Ramsey should be starting until he proves ineffective or someone else takes the job from him. Again, I like Ramsey but me liking him doesn't give him a cannon of an arm. Clearly Ramsey is just going to be a polarizing individual here. However, I don't really recall people being that down on him. Suggesting someone has limitations is not getting down on a guy it's just stating an observation. He did well again today but I still am on the side of him being a game manager rather than game changer. Like others said his WR's bailed him out numerous times, terrible decision/throw in 2nd half, seemed slower on scrambles and runs tonight (could've been weather), almost zero zip on passes and just seemed ok overall. Again he was ok as was most of the team. His #'s though were certainly misleading. I think he's our version of Alex Smith. He'll do fine and won't make a bunch of mistakes but in the end you aren't going anywhere with him. He just doesn't change the game like someone with a great set of skills whatever they may be.
