  1. Thanks for sharing. I want to believe! I truly hope he commits.
  2. Last I heard was that it was sometime within the next week. Don’t know if it’s tomorrow. Geographically it would make sense…but if he goes back home before visiting Louisville I would think that could be a shaky sign for them.
  3. There’s always pros and cons on what order you are regarding visits. Earlier visits have the chance of getting a commitment before the player has a chance to see other visits…however, if you don’t get a commitment the later visits tend to be the ones the player remembers the most.
  4. One thing Self has is experience in this recruitment game. Kansas is a machine. They’re very tactful and clearly organized…they know what they want and they get it. I admit, I get a little concerned with our staff about this. Sometimes I feel like we’re throwing darts. Remember, and this may be a tough pill to swallow, but it’s not very hard to get a player to visit Indiana. It’s closing the deal once they visit. With Kansas in play, I hope all hands are on deck and that we’re mightily prepared. Lets reel him in!
  5. There's nothing I've seen or read that shows Mgbako has canceled his visit. Is it possible? sure...but Kansas fans are gonna say what they want to say on their message boards after Dickinson commits. Keep in mind...Mgbako moves down the scout report with a Dickinson commitment...I'm not sure that's a plus for Kansas.
  6. He follows 2 of our players (Ware and Cupps) and hasn’t made his OV yet.
  7. Yea…don’t see anything unexpected. He’s taking visits to the 4 schools he listed. If anything, it shows that he didn’t commit to Slick Rick on his visit (something that wouldn’t have been entirely shocking had it happened).
  8. Again…worth repeating. Mgbako would be a MASSIVE addition. 6’8 bucket getter that would slide right in.
  9. I get your point. Though I was never a defender of Geronimo. Just called it like I saw it.
  10. Not to say Geronimo can't have a good game...but I'm not too concerned about him when we play MD. Simply put, I don't think Geronimo is a good player.
  11. Looks like he has the "SMH" and "RAT" emoji.
  12. We're in the final 3 or 4...We have a real shot here.
  13. Yes. He can play on the perimeter and defend.
  14. He’s a scorer. Must have. Would be a helluva an addition! Reel him in!
  15. Is Devo Davis, or any other SEC talent following anyone from IU on social media?
  16. Correct…and those numbers were for March Madness. Imagine if we had made it deeper in the tournament. I suspect those three could’ve been numbers 1, 2, 3.
  17. On that’s status of “easier to sell to” regarding recruitments and programs. Who has a better program between Indiana and Houston? Houston was a perennial dumpster for 40 years up until recently. FYI - NIL top 10 numbers just came out from March Madness and Indiana had 3 or 4 of the top 10. Impressive.
  18. Ledlum was prioritized. Tough blow. Staff needs to cast net wider. If they’re going to be selective with recruits they have to be sure they get the commitments.
  19. I hope Tamar excels at Mizzou. He, by many accounts seems like a great person and I hope for the best….but let’s not serenade him with some of the tweets and posts I’ve seen the past 24 hours. He didn’t do anything to make our team better. You can make an argument otherwise. Again, wish him and his family the best, but he ain’t Robert Vaden.
  20. Don’t see it…but I hope you’re right!
  21. No doubt…they are Toilet maker fans lol. Keep in mind Illinois considers us an arch rival….hell Chester Frazier still talks smack about that game 15 years later HA!
  22. Not sure anything would surpass the vitriol Gordon and his family faced. I know multiple people who were at that game . It was flat out dangerous for Gordon and his family. They had to have cops around his family.
