BTW, we're not the only fan base that's a tad schizophrenic. I don't troll on anybody's fan boards, I just see headlines on yahoo or msn.com and read the stories -- that usually take me to a fan board -- because they're interesting and funny. In the past two days, I've seen one story saying Jon Gruden indicated if he returned to coaching, there were 2-3 jobs in which he'd have interest -- the University of Tennessee gig was one. Another said Gruden has made it known he has absolutely no interest in the Vols job. So there you go ... many fan bases are as nuts as we are. I'll leave you with this quote from Bob Wiley: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. I'm a schizophrenic, and so am I."

I know someone who's son went to high school with Bryce and played basketball and tennis with him. Has nothing but good things to say about he and Homer. I think Bryce is a good dude. It just so happened that Darius wanted to stay close to home and Vandy gave him that option. Just because it worked out that way doesn't mean there was anything wrong with the way he was recruited.

Who knows? Maybe Phinisee gets up to speed quicker than we thought and ends up being better for IU in the long run. Remember, Calbert Cheaney wasn't all that highly regarded out of high school -- he ended up OK.

That's what I don't get. Why set up this announcement, then talk to ESPN and tell them everything. I don't blame ESPN. Clearly, he talked to them and had no problem with them publishing this info.

If you play Achie's post-game remarks from last night backward and at half-speed, about 15 seconds in, you can clearly hear: "Darius is coming." ... And about 30 seconds later: "Romeo will follow." ... And about a minute after that: "Paul is dead."

Didn't work -- not a subscriber to that. I've never had a problem watching IU stuff on BTN2GO, but for some reason, it's not working tonight. I'm getting pissed.

Anybody trying to watch this game online? I'm at a place where there's no BTN on the TVs. I'm a subscriber, so I've tried BTN2GO through my computer and my phone and I'm getting nothing on either.

Have a question -- I've been following this thread on and off for a while, but there's so much here, I can't absorb it all. Is it concrete that Garland actually is announcing his selection tomorrow (Monday), or is that just speculation? And if so, is he making that pick on ESPN, or live in such a fashion that it will be streamed? I grew up in NW Indiana, so I saw his pop play in high school. I also saw Bryce Drew play and generally, think he is a pretty good dude. So while I certainly hope Garland picks IU, if he doesn't, I'd rather see him play at Vandy for Bryce than at a place like UNC or Louisville or Kansas.
