    There are consequences for every mistake. If Ellis catches that ball, Penix doesn't throw that pick. Have to, have to, have to execute in games like this. OSU is making mistakes, too, and we're not taking advantage.

    And we have to kick off. I've seen nothing that makes me think we won't soon be looking at 35-7.

    We're not good enough to beat OSU. But we shouldn't be down 28-7. We have to play nearly perfect, and we're aren't. This is what worried me while watching the previous games. While we were winning, poor execution and sloppy play at times kept us from winning bigger. And that has carried over -- and we can't afford that.

    Man, if Ellis can make one move on that DB, he's got 6 points. He wasn't gonna outrun him to the end zone. Like in Top Gun -- hit the brakes, and he'll fly right by. Then you can walk in.

    At this point, I'd almost be happy to take 21-7 into the locker room. I'm fearful we'll have another quick three and out and Brutus will get another quick score.
