If you look at his highlights, he hits every 3 he puts up. But yes, that would be best case..

Maybe he comes in and lights it up like that kid from Nebraska a few years back..one can hope!

From the highlights he looks to be very crafty & great body control for a big.

The only ones from last year to add would be Wilkerson/Alexis and LW would be highest paid and a descent raise for SA, so not sure how that works with money already spent.

You can wait and you can also wait too long. Just seems like with all the tape they’ve been studying for quite some time now that zeroing in on your target, getting in and getting out of the portal would be a really good thing. i’m sure that’s why I don’t get paid the big bucks but at the same time we’re talking about a fan base who is used to getting burned. :(

Very well could be, but I’d rather like to think with our new GM etc., that we would’ve targeted exactly who we want and get them signed.

Definitely not to take anything away from the staff for sure up to this point I think they’ve done pretty darn good but you just want to see them finish the race. If the $20 million spent on this roster so far is accurate then it would be great to see them spend enough on the last three players so that this team can make a deep run in the tournament next year. The longer it goes on that we don’t sign those last three player the more chances are that the quality is going to go really far down. I hope not and I hope they have a secret plan in place and will surprise us all.

So a stacked Louisville can afford him, but we can’t? The kid plays hard. We should’ve scooped him up.

We add Christian Reeves, Josiah Parker and Yak Yak and we are in the NC..book it!

Yeah, I agree about those 2 but Manhertz prob needs a year to put on some muscle and adjust. I'm mainly worried about the Bigs and Yig foul trouble plus the fact that we are injury prone. All I would like to see is one or two developmental bigs that actually have some obvious upside like say (Josiah Parker) not him as a depth Big, but with his level of ability. I think that is doable with the time we have left to sell.. IMO

I would love another Sam Alexis!

Of course, my point was we still need quality depth in the last 3 signings. Just hoping we can add playable players that production doesn't fall off a cliff when they sub in.

These last three players that get signed to fill out the roster I think is going to be crucial to the success of this team this year. I don’t really look at them as end of the bench pieces. I think our freshman class coming in will be that. These next three players need to be very good rotational pieces as we all know the big10 season is a grind and if we go dumpster diving, we’re in trouble.

Is Cook Hall open to the public anymore? I remember when Crean was here the public was allowed to come anytime it was open. If so, maybe someone can stop in and see if anyone is on a visit? lol

I'm beginning to wonder if Dorn might stay on roster. Just a thought since I doubt we get anyone much better than him at this point. Another summer of training and who knows, but the kid can shoot and get to the rim when he needs to. With the attention our bigs are going to get in the paint, that should free up guys like him and if he becomes more consistent..look out.

Probably hard to think of it that way because many good teams have retention and thus no need to be big spenders in the portal while others like us this year have to spend a lot for a new team that has no continuity to begin summer practice.

He just needs to attend the Cig school of training humble and hungry warriors..
