  1. Maybe it does, after all the drugs they took while on tour.
  2. You can't tell me that these IU players, this close to the situation, don't have some sort of information. This information could be just that Dolson has reached out to coaches, A, B, C and D and are waiting on levels of interest...
  3. "Oh what a tangled web we weave......"
  4. He must feel comfortable about choices he is hearing ......
  5. Is this actually true?
  6. .....cute. Classic "Fast Times and Ridgemont High".
  7. One of best concerts I've ever been to and was in the old Market Square Arena.....LOVE ELO!
  8. Guys.....I have to admit, this possible or potential "Coach Steven + IU marriage" reminds me of watching the Bachelor/ Bachelorette with my wife. YESSSSSSS,.... I watch those two shows because I love my wife and those are the things we do for our spouses. I guarantee I'm not the only one on here who does. They're DVR'd and haven't missed an episode. I guarantee I'm not the only one on here who does this for their loved one. ANYWAY..........my analogy between the Bachelor/Bachelorette and Coach Stevens is spot on. Potential candidates (IU fans) portray their love and desire to be chosen for that final ROSE. They are constantly trying to "pitch" why they should be "THE ONE", even telling them they love him. All the while, the Bachelor, "Coach Stevens" shows interest, but can never really say his true feelings until that Final Rose. Will we (IU Fans) get that FINAL ROSE? My wife would be so proud of me.....
  9. ....still doesn’t say he’s not going to take the IU job. He is dancing with the press.
  10. Man I remember that day in 1987 like it was yesterday. I was a Freshman at IU and watching the IU/Syracuse N.C. Game with my girlfriend at Wright Quad down in the lounge....Keith Smart hit that shot and it was instant pandemonium!!! 1st stop Showalter Fountain then onto Kirkwood. Wow, that was some night! I would do it all again at age 53!!!
  11. Me too....I’m artie86 on HSN...
  12. He still doesn’t say absolutely no. These coaches know how to talk to the press.
  13. I live in Jennings as well. It's where I've been teaching for 26+ years. I'm originally from Martinsville.
  14. Here's a comparison..... Back in the day coach Knight rarely recruited players, his assistants did most of it. The "BRAND" was enough. That also got him in trouble later in his coaching career. However, if Brad came, I think the rigors of recruiting would come easy for him because many would want to be a part of what he brings, especially when he starts winning at IU and the BRAND is renewed......JMHO.
  15. As you should..... My thing is, if Brad was approached by an IU rep., given an hefty sales pitch and Brad LIKED what he heard, what holds him back? Do the rigors or recruiting hold him back, comfort of NBA?
  16. I hope your source is right about Brad. He's my grand slam! I did just see a post where he stated he was staying in Boston. Those type of news reports don't always hold water. You have definitely been good about relaying info from your contacts. I look forward to them.
  17. I saw my friend on here, so I followed you over. (Artie86)
