    I’m going to say something that will make people hate me… I’d rather watch FAU play/their style of ball than 5 stars/IU currently. Not meant to be a condemnation—just that stylistically I’ll take FAU over IU currently. Don’t @ me.

    Honest question from someone with no valid experience. Is blocking out a point of focus any more? AAU doesn’t give a crap about defense and I guess boxing out now falls into that category. Shot goes up and everyone’s mouth opens as they watch the ball and hope it lands in their lap.

    Knowing how things usually go, they’ll be invited to that one bowl with teams you’ve never heard of that plays in January between the semifinals and championship game. The Rotel and Velveeta makes a half decent queso bowl. The White Castle slider bowl. The Frisch’s Big Boy burger and all new diaper brand bowl.

    Anyone else having flashbacks to anything in the mid 00’s about possibly hiring someone with dirty laundry? If we manage to Sampson ourselves with football… Cannot fathom there’s even the slightest appetite for a coach with skeletons or even fresh bodies falling out of their closet.

    Before you tell us how you really feel… There is ZERO reason not to enter the portal. Put your name out there to see if you’re exactly what Saban or Kirby wants. You are then eligible to be purchased—er sorry recruited by everyone. Rudy would have entered the portal if he played today. There’s nothing preventing the entire team from returning.
