  1. I'm not a gambler but...I saw somewhere that Brad Stevens was +5000 for the IU job. I thought about placing $10 down...would win $500 I think
  2. I would NOT listen to any national media guy about the Indiana job. They know nothing.
  3. NCAA Picks West: Gonzaga over Iowa. I think some upsets are UCSB over Creighton and USC gets to the Sweet 16. East: Alabama over Florida State (this football?). I think the Livers injury really hurts Michigan. I felt like they've lost some mojo since the end of the season. I hate it because they would've been my pick weeks ago. LSU could beat Michigan but I have FSU knocking them out. I think Sparty could make a run. South: Baylor over Ohio State. I'd love to watch Arkansas-Texas Tech in the 2nd round. Either could beat Ohio State. I think Winthrop upsets Villanova and Purdue. Gillespie is a massive blow to Villanova and they aren't the same team. I like Purdue's team but they are young. I think Withrop has a 6'7 PG. Tough matchup and they play fast. Midwest: Illinois over San Diego State. SDSU beats Houston. I think they make up for last year (should've been a 1 seed) Nothing against Sampson but I think they are overrated. Final Four: Gonzaga blow out Alabama. Illinois beats Baylor in an epic game. Went back and forth there. NCAA Championship: Gonzaga over Illinois. I just think this is the year it happens. They are just good. Kispert 1st Team All-American. Suggs and Timme 2nd Team All-American. Ajayi kid Honorable-Mention. Lots of talent. They have a solid PG play with Nembhard. As good as a starting 5 in a while. Illinois will give them all they can handle with Ayo and Kofi. This is as big of a crapshoot the tournament has been in years. I expect lots of upsets early on but overall the top 3 teams are pretty darn good and I'd be surprised if they aren't in the Final Four.
  4. He just gave his take on who he thought the next coach would be. 1-3 were Brad, 4a Beard, 4b Drew, 5 Muss
  5. Not to put you on the spot, but with the info you’ve heard, what percentage do you put on Brad being our coach next year-just a guess?
  6. Other than the bomb he dropped this morning
  7. Brad resigns tomorrow and comes home!! Book it!!
  8. I would say three weeks but Beard and Drew could have just played in the NCAA Championship. Give them a week after their season ends. I agree if it was Beilein we would've heard by now.
  9. I'm stating the obvious...Stevens is seriously considering IU. It's a matter of if he wants a change. The longer IU goes without naming a coach.....it's him. I say if this position is vacant in four weeks, we will know. Also, Brad to IU would give the Bilas's and the Goodman's in the national media the middle finger.
  10. To my point, I saw Matt Glensek of the Indy Star essentially say the same thing. The national guys love to hate on Indiana.
  11. My dad has said this for years..he thinks the national media hates Indiana because of how Bob Knight was. He probably hurt their feelings long ago. A majority probably don't want to see Indiana win again. I bet Jay Bilas and Tim Brando are in that category.
  12. The program has only made four NCAA Tournaments in 12 years....but it's the fans fault.
  13. I listened to the Brad interview...he kind of played it off. He didn't really answer the question until the end and said "I am not". Take it for what it's worth.
  14. Pretty sure Saban denied going to Alabama. Means little to me.
  15. I got the email he sent. I think it lines up with the guys Chris mentioned earlier. I haven't really followed him as much so I'm willing to give him a chance to see how connected he is. He's passionate about IU just like all of us and I appreciate him taking time to say what he's heard.
  16. Great kid and I hate that he never got to play in the tournament. I'll be rooting for him.
  17. I have to think ~$7.0 mil a year to get Stevens.
  18. Since I have been a college hoops fan (early 2000s) there have been two "holy $h!t-this dudes going to win big time) hires: Roy Williams to UNC in 2003 John Calipari to UK in 2009. They've combined for 9 Final Fours and 4 National Championships at their respective universities. Brad Stevens to Indiana would be the third "holy $h!t" hire. Thankfully it would be my team this time.
  19. He literally called everything right in the last few weeks. That is why I don't understand how people pay $$ on other sites. Also those people are a$$es too. I've always felt everyone on this site is friendly.
  20. Goodman also laughed at the idea that Brad Stevens would leave for Indiana.
  21. I agree with what you said. You let Brad do whatever he wants. That being said, at some point it's going to be come obvious when this position is vacant until June. I don't think that would sit well in Boston.
  22. Would probably follow the list our guy @Chris007 suggested!!! That being said, I don't trust the National guys really. They all said no way IU fires with a 10 mil buyout.
  23. Holy bleep...I'd take any of those four.
  24. I’m bored on twitter looking at player likes to see their attitude as that tells the story. Go to Lander’s first like and that is pretty telling.
  25. Same with Baylor..I feel Drew will never have a roster this talented at Baylor.
