At this point I don't care as much if he doesn't come back. I'm confident that Woody will find someone else whether it be Xavier Johnson, Locke, or another portal kid. Would I like him back? Hell yes. Thought he would be this teams second best player. But if he doesn't want to be here...

I hope. Hence the comment changes coming. That's why a guy like Keion Brooks would be nice to have. Hope at least 4 of the guys on the floor are a three point threat. Also, Stewart isn't a midget. He's 6'5.

Should be a fun competition between him and Hunter for the 4 spot. Lander and Rob could be competing for the PG if Armaan comes back. I think Xavier Johnson starts if he comes.

Doing this for fun but my guess at a lineup based on players we know are coming back. Obviously more changes will come. PG Khristian Lander G Rob Phinisee G Parker Stewart F Jerome Hunter C Trayce Jackson-Davis Bench in order: Geronimo, Duncomb, Galloway, Leal, Brunk Franklin starts if he comes back. I think he would take Phinisee's spot and Rob would be our 6th man. Still have a lot of work to do. Not sure I'm confident in the bench with Galloway, Leal, and Brunk. Right now I say this is a tournament team. But not sure if they go far. Need a guy like Armaan back or a couple big transfers.

Agree with you. Happy they are back but they need obviously a good summer of development and IU still needs to land a transfer or two.

Question about next year- will the players "class" stay the same as this year? For example will Lander still be a Fr. and Jackson-Davis a So.? I know it was a free year.

I think they are going to have to limit this somewhat. It shouldn't be a free for all (I understand the circumstance this year).

What's crazy is that in addition to Woodson you had Matta, Fife, and Lewis that were being talked about as potential candidates for the head coaching position. To get them as assistants/on staff is huge.

Same here. It is what it is. Armaan was #2 on my list of players with uncertainty but it sounds like he is almost keeping everyone else (TJD, Parker, Lander, Geronimo, Brunk)

Timing makes sense. Lewis just ended his season. They should know by now if it's him.
