Yeah no way he misses what is one of the biggest IU games of his career. I just hope this is something that doesn't get worse over time. Might be a solid idea to sit him against Nebraska if needed...again, not ideal but of the next 5 games that one is the least challenging.

Mine is Syracuse lol...but yes, UNC just dominated that game. I don't think IU played bad. UNC was just better. Back to back years they made the title game. I feel like the 2012/2016 teams had a bad draw...in 2012 they got UK and 2016 UNC.

We will see. Guy I talked to today was helpful. Not sure if it's on them or the seller. Hope it's an IU win. Normally I go see IU play non-conference games. Saw my first Big Ten game at Assembly Hall last year against Wisconsin. I want to see what it looks like when it's rocking for a big game.

I don't blame you. I get it. I'm not on board that this is a National Title contender yet. I think IU is very good. One of the best teams in the B1G and a second weekend NCAA Tournament team. 3 point shooting concerns me a little still. I'm getting greedy but I'd really like for them to win two of the UNC, Arizona, and Kansas games. We will know more about this team on the afternoon of December 17 after the Kansas game. Overall if they go 3-2 in the next 5 games (need to win both B1G Games), I feel good.

Yeah that is what I thought too. Woody sounded very confident last night about them all playing so I'm not too worried.

At our first game I remember saying this. I was afraid he'd get into foul trouble. Thankfully they have a deep frontcourt. But next year? Something he needs to improve on. It's not fair after one game, I was just disapointed he didn't show up against Xavier.

I agree with you. I hope Friday gave him some confidence. He and Jordan looked bad against Xavier. It's like a QB looking good against horrible teams but against a really good team he struggles. I just think if Tamar and Jordan have even an average game this IU team is going to be hard to beat. I think Jordan and Tamar scored a combined 20-30 points the last couple of games. Don't think they'll do that every time but we need more than 1 point from the two of them. If not for an All-American performance by Trayce and X they don't beat Xavier.

I agree. I feel Trayce will be one of the 3. Some nights it could be Race and some times it could be Miller. Just depends. Benefit of having a deep team!!!

Yeah I'm okay with row 40 I've sat there before. I'm just unhappy with them not being able to say the section and what not. Part of it is my fault for just seeing lower level when I bought them. But they should know better. Thanks for the help. It'll all work out. I just want to experience a big game at Assembly Hall and we had a little bit of extra cash thanks to some insurance stuff. Again, I hate it that UNC has lost two in a row and isn't 100% healthy.

One key to the game for me is the performance of Tamar Bates and Jordan Geronimo. Against Xavier they score a combined 1 point. That's not going to cut it. Trayce and X had an All-American like performance. Malik played well. Indiana really needs their bench to beat UNC. They have a massive advantage. If Jordan/Tamar can get you around 15 points combined that's pretty good. Malik has been consistent getting at least 8 or so points. If those three give us their average performance, I don't see how UNC beats IU. Puff is their only bench guy really. The Trimble kid is only a freshman. Bottom line: Everyone do your job (Miller-hit open 3's; X-don't try and do too much; Race-be the glue guy; Trey-bring energy and toughness). I feel like this IU team has an All-American in Trayce and I don't want to say a bunch of role players but a lot of guys who are extremely good at something. Feel like they all bring something to the table. I still think Gunn and Banks see a lot of minutes on the last 5 IU teams.

Regardless of health..UNC is not deep. They don't have a Tamar Bates, Jordan Geronimo, or Malik Reneau coming off the bench. Now, if Xavier version of Tamar and Jordan show up... What worries me is if Love and Davis go off for them. Even without Bacot I think they are still capable of beating IU. Trayce worries me a little. He didn't look right on Friday. I kind of hope they can get through these next 5 games without him getting hurt. Hopefully 5 days off helps. They played like 4 games in 7 days.

Update..sounds like it was an error on the seller. He messed the barcode up. Stub hub has to work with the university to fix it. They assured me that my ticket is legit. Still don't know on the section. I expressed my frustration with them. If I don't have it tomorrow I'm going to ask for a refund and buy another ticket off someone I know that paid less. Last time I'll use Stub Hub. Regardless if you buy something you should get your ticket right away. Also said maybe this seller shouldn't be able to use Stub Hub if he can't figure this out.

I caved and bought some tickets for this game. I'm excited to be there but honestly disapointed UNC isn't at full strength. I like IU's chances but if their backcourt gets going it will be a game.

Question for tickets...I was able to buy some reasonable lower level tickets for UNC on Stub Hub! They should be on my account tomorrow. However, it doesn't say what section..it just says lower level row 40 seat 107...any idea where that's at?

Hope this was the game Tamar starts to really kick into gear. This was the top 30 player IU thought they would eventually get. If he keeps it up he will be starting sooner rather than later. Now..onto UNC. From what I've seen from both teams I'll be a little disappointed if IU can't win this game at Assembly Hall.

Yes. Yes it does. I'm all football still but it's hard not to watch College Basketball in November. Factor in great basketball and IU having a good team. Sorry Dickie V..college hoops is just fine starting in November.

Right now the 4 teams that have stood out over two weeks are: Arkansas, Creighton, Houston, and Texas. I'd put IU in that 2nd category with teams like Gonzaga, Michigan State, Virginia, etc.. Arkansas is going to be a problem when Smith plays for them. I think Houston and Creighton have two of the best starting lineups in all over college basketball. Really like Texas' backcourt of Hunter and Carr.
