  1. Absolutely. Wofford is projected to get in even if they lose. Same with Buffalo at the mid-major level.
  2. I want both teams in but highly doubt it as you mentioned. I've seen enough of teams like St Marys, TCU, NC State, Bama, Florida, Arizona St. to know they aren't very good teams and I think we will pass most of them to get an at-large if we just take care of business.
  3. Its a shame we can't see Windler and Morant both in the tourney. Two guys that are special and could pull off a few upsets.
  4. Agree I think Walton is great if he is not broadcasting an IU game which never happens. These other guys try to fill time on the air with garbage storylines or if its like a Dickie V they just scream at the tv. Bill just does whatever he wants and I think it is awesome. He plays well with the sarcastic Pasch.
  5. Correct, misinterpreted the tweet. It is Creighton and TCU
  6. Apparently new source says its TCU and Creighton
  7. Great list...a few more Mitchell Robinson at WKU Deandre Ayton at AZ Cat Barber at NC St. Mo Bamba at Texas Andrew Wiggins, Josh Jackson, Kelly Oubre, Chieck Diallo, Josh Selby at Kansas Derrick Rose at Memphis Lonnie Walker at Miami Troy Brown at Oregon
  8. Imagine cheating and being really bad at it = Nebraska
  9. We've had this discussion before about coaches coming into a program and all of a sudden they are landing top talent left and right. LSU was on that list. I could easily venture to guess another 10-15 schools that should be on this list as well. It's just too obvious with the rampant cheating going on today.
  10. Agree. The NCAA committee never gives automatic births to mid-major schools. Even if they are on the bubble, past history shows they award power 5 team with that has the better overall wins and SOS (ala Syracuse almost every year). The fact that Buffalo and Wofford are positioned to get automatic births is rare. Unless something drastic has changed in thinking I would say the chance Murray State gets one is less than 10% even with a lottery pick to boot.
  11. Exactly. They turn the ball over so much. Recipe for disaster.
  12. Crean and Georgia loses to Missouri at home 64-39. So ugly. Now 2-15 in conference play.
  13. It only took me a few minutes. Not that hard to look up especially when you smell BS. And your reactions sure don't sound like you were confident it was Vandy for weeks.
  14. You did? You certainly didn't come across that way on the day he committed to Vandy. You know its easy to look back on these threads :)
  15. Yes, believe ArIzona St. is in last 4 in now according to Lunardi. Wins against Kansas and Miss St. really helping them out in the non-con. Not a fan of Hurley. Would love to see them knocked out early in their conference tourney.
  16. And Murray State is in the same conference as I think Belmont who is also really good. One gets in. Same with Furman. Lipscomb also really good and only one will get in there. St Mary's needs Gonzaga to break a leg. They dont' look like they are even close to the same level to be able to beat them on a neutral court in the conference tourney. It would be great if Washington wins the Pac-12 tourney because no other team in that conference deserves a berth and that would take away from one team. If Buffalo or Wofford loses their conference tourney, they will like get two teams in from those conferences since both are considered to be at-large berths regardless of winning their tournaments. IU gets to the semi's of the BTT, would be feeling very good assuming they win these next two.
  17. Yet Texas is still deemed as a 9 or 10 seed. This is the weakest bubble I can ever remember. Because of that, give me all the Belmont, Wofford, Utah St, Murray St, Hofstra, Lipscomb. IU still controls their own destiny imo if we beat Illinois, Rutgers and win our first BTT game.
  18. I should have put TBD next to CAM. I am still hopeful. Next year or two will tell us a lot.
  19. A few of these programs made bad hires before only to realize it and make sure the next one was a home run. We have had a chance at hiring four coaches since Knight and not one was ever going to be that home run hire. Sad. UNC - Dougherty was a disaster. Hired Roy Kentucky - Gillespie was a mess. Hired Cal
  20. March Madness is only a few short weeks away. Looking at teams that are hot and those that are not Teams that are hot Houston, Cincinatti, KState, Texas Tech, Marquette, Purdue, LSU, Washington, Kentucky, Zags, Virginia Mid majors: Belmont, Utah St , Wofford, Buffalo, VCU Holding Relatively Steady at the top UNC, Duke, Mich, Tenn, Mich St, Trending down Nova, KU, Auburn, Iowa St, Louisville,
  21. The best and only good thing about the Pac-12 is the entertainment these two bring. That's it!
  22. They have a had a disappointing season yet still are a #4 at this very moment in the tourney. What I would do to know we could have a bad year and still be a top 16 team.
  23. They have actually been better without Vick. Azuibuike, however, was a big loss. A rim protector that they don't have now.
  24. Yes, Jake Forrester's father.
  25. If the attitude really is that bad he should have been sat long ago instead of just the second half last night. It's not like he has been putting up big lines over the season. He's a disgruntled part and that part can be replaced especially when your team is losing night in and night out. At what point does Archie say maybe its time to give some new guys some run? Hard to really see what they are capable of when they hardly play and when they do the leash is generally short. I will say Forrester, Moore, Anderson have all looked completely lost on defense and even on offense at times this year in the limited run they have received. Part of being inexperienced but also costly when in a close game. I think Forrester really has nice potential if as many have said he can get quite a bit stronger. I'm not sure what can become of Moore. He just looks kind of clumsy to me a lot of the times. Almost like he still hasn't grown into his body. He has been with the program two years and seems to need to get stronger if he wants to compete in the BIG. Maybe a transfer is what is needed. Anderson is too early to tell but I think he could be a nice guard off the bench in coming years. He just has no confidence now and seems to be the most lost of anyone when on the court. Verdict: more Forrester and less Smith
