I probably will get bashed for this but I wouldn’t mind if Archie “Creaned” a few players this off season. I rather Archie recruit as many players as possible at this point. I will be able to handle sucking year 3 with potential than handle seeing another 17-18 win season with the same people. I’m not going to list players who should be Creaned but the number should be atleast 4. Also if Race Thompson doesn’t play next year from injuries than I think Archie should kind of steer clear from him. I mean I don’t want to say rush a player back from a concussion... But he’s seems fine on the bench laughing and celebrating during timeouts.

Honestly at this point.... Archie is better off trying the younger players to evaluate what he has. I hate for players to leave and transfer but I think for both IU and themselves DeRon and Green are better off transferring at end of the year. DeRon could get playing time closer to home and Green could take his experience elsewhere. I think IU could use those scholarships on senior transfer guards that could shoot.

The last 2 seasons I got so frustrated watching Newkirk this year it’s Fitzner. I mean once the guard saw Fitzner was in he went right at him. Fitzner can not play anymore outside of fouling at the end of the games or blowouts. He brings nothing. I’m curious to know his +/-
