Well we had a walkon Taber at Center. Pritchard who was a role player. Tijan Jobe who had the longest strides ever.

He’s the guy who super tall on a high school team that you worry is about to score 20-25 on you. But in reality he’s just tall and easy to guard 1 on 1 with someone 6’5

Learned that maybe the entire team being mid major players isn’t the ideal way. Learned that depth and interior players are still important even if they aren’t focal points anymore.

I think Crean’s first 3 years at IU would rebound and score better in the post than this team.

It’s time to accept our losses on Bailey. He gives you nothing. It’s time to bury him on the bench.

Like thinking about next year… Outside of Dorn and Sisley…. We return nothing in the experience and minutes department. Honestly outside of those 2 guys and Ristic/Achimovic…. We probably should move on from everyone else. If you can find minutes on this team…. So if we have to fill another 7 scholarships like you said scouting has to be nailed. We can’t just spend to spend. Yet we can’t get cheap. We can have another Reed Bailey situation. I rebuilding team who spends a good sum of their funding on miss is doomed.

What was concerning was after the bad foul call on Tucker. 1st knowing our history the last 10 years of “basketball IQ” I knew he would try to do the same thing on the other end. Waht was even more frustrating was were happening the calls like broke this teams spirit. Not a single quick huddle to be like relax… Once again we have no leader. Honestly Tucker DeVries can be such a selfish player and personally I think Coach DeVries will be a better coach when he’s gone. At times he coaches as if he’s a dad on his son’s youth recreational team. I still can’t believe we spent 1-2 mil on Reed Bailey. This team is driven by momentum. If they don’t have any… They tank. If they’re rolling they score with ease. Outside of Marquette… We really haven’t played a good 40 minute game vs a P5 opponent.

I heard from a couple ND boosters that ND season ticket holders weren’t allowed to sell their tickets to IU fans. IU had very limited seats for that game.
