Himself because he shouldn't have anyone in his way any longer. It seems like you have it out for Dolson (not sure why) but its fairly well known he was shooting hoops with handcuffs on last time around. There are only a handful of boneheads out there who really believed Woodson was a legitimate hire and one of them so happened to be sitting at the head of the table. -

If you've been here any amount of time you know there is 99% chance that wasn't the case. -

Agreed. If there was truth to IU + donors being willing to pay BS 10mil/yr, what are they willing to pay DM? -

He would've taken us over Michigan if we hadn't had our head in our arse. -

Coach May, Please come home to hang a fresh banner or two (or 10). Ours are a little Dusty. -

He makes me want to barf. I hate that not one but two former IU greats give me that reaction. -

Idk if Ashworth has any eligibility after this season but if so, bring him along. I would imagine the rest Big East would be glad to be rid of him as an opponent. Aaron Craft-like in my mind except a better shooter and not quite the defensive annoyance, but both were heady and never ones to quit competing. -

And this season getting Creighton where they are without having Pop Isaacs most of the year. He was averaging 16+ before he went down. -

He was next to never for a long time and the Mike Woodson experience put the last nail in the coffin of the former IU player experiment. I think he's a Western America lifer now from a coaching standpoint. -

Ahh right. That rings a bell. Definitely more baggage than he-who-shall-not-be-named. -

If I remember correctly he and his wife were both a problem. -
I definitely didn't think he was coming back.

In that order of likelihood? Bucky does seem like the long shot -
It was definitely around the 5th MTP joint. You couldn't really see a suspicious mechanism on the play though.

Absolutely. I don't know if I've seen that many consecutive stripped balls under the basket without a call. Granted most if all of them looked clean, but usually officials will end up calling it after a point.
-
That looks bad for Kalkbrenner. They've already been without Pop Isaacs for most of the year. They way he was helped off the court he could be missing extended time.
-
Eh. Ashworth drew the charge there. Bad call. Ball don't lie.

Unless Dusty doesn't let them lock him up. If IU is a dream job for him there's not much more they could offer financially compared to IU to make him turn it down. It all depends on him. -

More like the flavor of the last 2-3 years. Usually a recipe with that kind of flavor stays on the menu for a long while. -

If you're aiming for a guy that's had much more than that over his career you might be carrying borderline unrealistic expectations because there aren't many of them out there, let alone many of them who are also looking to switch jobs. Understanding, however, everyone has their own interpretation of 'capable'. Yours may be different than mine and that's alright. -

Man that's refreshing after listening to Woodson talk basketball. The man also is just aware, and while it's certain he does his homework on opponents it sounds like he's specifically aware of the situation at Indiana. Disclaimer: I'm not a Cronin shill. Not an anyone shill, really. Just pro-guys that can run a disciplined, hard-nosed and intelligent basketball program. I'm in the minority but I'd take him. He's proven he knows how to coach kids to win, but seems like one of those guys still waiting for a big break and under the current college basketball landscape IU is primed to be that program that can help elevate him. People say hire a coach for their future, not their past. But the best predictor of future behavior (success, in this instance) is past behavior. He's not the sexiest hire largely because of his personality but two of the most successful coaches we've experienced at IU haven't exactly been sweeties themselves. It's not a beauty contest anyway. It's about finding who can consistently put your program in a position to win. He's one of those.
