  1. The extension basically tells me what I have desired pretty much my entire life since I was a wee one watching my beloved IUFB. Also, restroom and seating upgrades baby! This has to be the best football season dream I've ever had. Don't wake me up.
  2. Everyone and their mother has Coach Cig losing against O$U. IUFB is driving the Ferrari into Columbus with chips on their shoulder. Note to the daunted, keep on overlooking this team. Just keep doing it.
  3. Coach Cig wasn't going to take the job without commitment from the top. So it's fair to say a coach like CTA might have been productive had he had the proper backing. If I'm being honest with myself, any IUFB coach might have been productive for that matter. From what I understand, and I could be wrong, this is the first time IU is investing in football from the top. Regardless, I get your point and and I don't think CTA would have ever had this type of success as IU's football coach. I'm just soaking all this in and enjoying every single second of it.
  4. Yeah, he can eat a Richard for all I care. Dude's an ars and I have no problems saying that straight up to his face.
  5. Last year's format and a 10-0 Big Ten school would not make it but two one loss schools in the same conference would. Absolutely ridiculous.

  7. Whoever picks Rourke will be getting a quality QB. Accurate, composed, and able to make the reads. I'm hoping my beloved Colts draft him. Maybe in the 4th or something. He might end up being a Kirk Cousins type pick.
  8. I won't be surprised if Rourke, Kamara, Ponds (if he declares), Katic, and Smith (if he declares) all getting drafted. Rourke being the highest pick with Ponds being behind him. And Rourke will be a steal for any team that selects him if he doesn't get drafted in the first three rounds.
  9. Sometimes hiring the right guy changes everything. He needed IUFB like we needed him.
  10. Please front 5 stay healthy. Please front 5 stay healthy. Please front 5 stay healthy.
  11. At first I was upset about the ranking but after some thought and a night's rest, I think IUFB is in the right spot. They are driving the Ferrari and that's the only thing you can hope for at this point in the season. Let's hope they take of business this Saturday.
  12. Yeah, I'm hoping my beloved Colts draft him.
  13. Yes. We'll be driving the Ferrari if that happens.
  14. @Hoosierfan2017 @DChoosier Thanks for sharing. Appreciate it. I'm oblivious to this kind of stuff. And it's abundantly clear. I'll just kindly remove myself from the conversation here. You can find me in the IUFB section if y'all need me. ;-) Cheers.
  15. I have no dog in this fight. But aren't they essentially playing the same position? Like would they be fighting each other for playing time? I don't know because I don't really pay that much attention to this stuff. I just casually watch the NBA. If that's the case one could argue JHS is the better option for the organization as far as his contribution to production value. I guess the better question is what was JHS's contract? Did he get the same type of contract? If JHS didn't than it makes a world of difference because many think, myself included, LeBron James' son is not ready for the NBA at all. And honestly, he might never be ready for the Association. I could be wrong and hope that I am because I hate to see failure. But man, that kid has a ton of pressure to even be an average player because of his dad.
  16. I'm afraid to go down this rabbit hole because I'm trying to focus on the present but my curiosity is taking over here. Serious question, does anybody on here truly know how much players are being compensated? Or are these values being thrown out of nowhere? I was triggered by the 500k is equal to 100k players being damn good players comment. Like is there a website that shows these numbers? I'm under the assumption coaches keep this info pretty tight lipped because I haven't heard a peep from coaches when they are asked about it. I do here coaches (cough cough, Brian Kelley) being upset because they were out bid by a school like IUFB. But I don't know of any coaches saying, "x player with y amount of experience and z amount of potential at fill in the blank position is valued at 100k." The NFL is pretty solid at what the market values are and I'm wondering if that's the case for college players. I'm not saying college players are equivalent to NFL player values, I'm just saying the market value of said position is typically worth x amount of dollars when it comes to the NFL.
  17. Rumors y'all. He's got a target on IUFB for other reasons than money. Although, I'm sure it helps make his decision. It really doesn't matter who wants how much etc. etc. in the grand scheme of things because IUFB has a seat at the big boy table now because of NIL. And the big boys effin hate it. If he comes to B-town he comes to B-town. If he stays with SC he stays with SC. If he ends up in Boulder he ends up in Boulder. Regardless, I have full faith in the coaching staff that they are preparing the current team to play a road game this weekend in Lansing. And I'm 100% positive Lewis is paying attention.
  18. I think he's talking about the pick Jackson threw. It was a bang bang play. It could have been the play all of us would be talking about had our Cig coached team not respond. Because it resulted in the points for UW.
  19. The disrespect continues. Chip on the shoulder is now transferring over to us IUFB faithful. And I effin love it. "Change the way people think." Coach Cig
  20. Please don't be a trap game. Please don't be a trap game. Please don't be a trap game.
  21. Not gonna lie, the current focus in this thread is just dumb. IUFB is in a position the vast majority of us IUFB faithful have never experienced and you're focused on the off-season? Rat poison. Enjoy this ride and focus on the present.
  22. @Artie86 Passing D is the reason. Since we've been ahead every game, our opponent has had to pretty much abandoned the run game. One could argue that our D isn't as good as the stats are indicating because of this factor. But you know as well as I do that just simply isn't true. Our run D is solid. This D can hang with any team in the B1G. But overall, the passing D is the reason we're sitting at seven. We've had some close games for 3 quarters.
