I think you might be overshooting how much Missouri Valley assistant coaches make. As of a couple years ago Illinois State had the highest paid staff at $361,000. This article didn't have Bradley because they are private but I'd guess they are towards the middle of the pack in the conference based on how that job ranks among jobs in that conference according to job rankings.

OSU's incoming players consist of a PG, 2 SG's, 1 SF, and a transfer SF. So if Pack goes there he will definitely get plenty of playing time but they've also got guys coming in to help replace what they lost.

Depends on what the team wants to do with their second round pick. Some teams give guarantees and some give 2 ways. It just depends on how much they value the player.

TJD should come back to Indiana unless he is going in the first round or he has a million dollar deal overseas. If he is a second rounder he'll likely end up on a two way deal or get cut and sent to the G league. If he gets a two way deal he will make 462,629 dollars. While it is really good money is nothing ridiculous. If he gets drafted then cut and sent to the G league he would make $37,000 dollars. He is already making more than that at IU. He could be an Indiana legend if things go the right way next year all while still making good money.

Sure but to say guys are against something when that might not still be the case would be a false narrative. I get it’s all hypothetical. I just know how coaches are and how they think.
