The jury is out? Opening arguments haven't even been completed. We're 12 games into CAM's first season. There is just no way in hell he was ever going to be able to unteach the bad habits these players have been taught overnight. I realize some of you expected as much but that was never realistic. I'm not saying Archie is blameless in this loss but you are already passing judgment on his coaching abilities based on 12 games with a deeply flawed roster, which honestly is absurd.

So your argument is that if you are paid a large salary you have to win immediately regardless of talent, instituting a new system etc? I'm sorry but that is not a logical argument.

Since you clearly already have them handy, why don't you point me to them? I'd also be willing to bet that over 40% of them are by our starting senior guards. Is that Miller's fault?

That is just not true. The turnovers were the same this game, but we played 3 games in a row with less than 10 turnovers at one point which never happened under Crean.

I realize this loss falls on absolutely everyone...but seeing as we have spent a lot of time talking about RJ's and Newkirk's shortcomings... Does anyone else feel like the exact opposite of heady is an apt description of Green?

I understand your point but I'm not inclined to believe that will help. He will have the same green light virtually anywhere he goes. If he really wants to win a championship, he has to know even with Shittu and Garland he isn't winning one at Vandy. I'm not saying that IU gives him a great shot to win a championship either, however, it is becoming pretty apparent that IU with Romeo would be better than Vandy with Romeo next year. In the end, even if he doesn't care all that much about winning a championship, I don't see what advantages Vanderbilt provides over IU. I think it will be key for IU show some improvement over the course of the season while Vanderbilt hopefully continues to tank.

Do people still think Vandy has the same momentum? They are terrible and their top 3 scorers are seniors.

So by your logic, which has to be implied since you're not stating it, Bob Knight was a bad hire as well.

I can buy that. However, the other things don't make the shooting meaningless. Being able to shoot is always going to make it more likely that you can earn minutes.

I'm sure this has already been stated, but it's awesome to see an IU team that plays better as the game goes on.

I have to say his demeanor reminds me of Jeremy Hollowell. Some people jumped all over anyone who questioned Hollowell's effort early on, but everyone had the same opinion at the end. Purely an opinion, but I don't think Jones has it between the ears.

I would point you to what Mark Titus said about Miller. More or less that he is going to get on you, but in a way that lets you know he's looking out for your best interests.

Unless this team improves dramatically, our win total will likely be closer to 12 than 18.

I find this comment incredible. It was a tournament win...over KENTUCKY! I'm confused why an IU fan would even attempt to downplay that. I shelled out more than I've ever spent on a ticket for 4th row seats, and it was worth every penny. Probably the best live sporting experience of my life.

I was there for the tournament game against Kentucky and we wouldn't have won that game without him. Other than that, I mostly agree.

Does this team ever, ever, ever make a play when it needs to in a crucial situation? No matter how bad you are, you'd think statistically it would happen by chance every once in a while.

I will admit I missed the first touchdown drive but there have been at least 4 that I can think of that were just not good throws. Of course he throws a touchdown as I am writing this haha. Go Ramsey

For a guy not being asked to make very difficult throws, he is pretty inaccurate.
